Sold on the Apex but definitely making the note to not bid on any upgrades, just book outright! Although I will say as a formal travel agent - YES about booking your next cruise on board. Most cruise lines will automatically send that booking to your travel agent (usually before you're even done with the cruise you're on) and they can work on getting you perks added ASAP. Can't wait to see more of you two!

Loved this series, since my hubby and I are going on the Apex in 8 days 🎉 But…really enjoyed you two even more. You seem like such a great couple and obviously adore and respect each other. I have really enjoyed your trip via the magic of RU-vid and enhanced by the more magical You Two. It is so true that given the ship vs. some ports that I just am not thrilled about seeing, ie: sleepy fishing village, "world-famous" something, etc. staying on board and relaxing is a joy. Thanks again guys, now...where to next?

Absolutely. And we met them briefly when we got on the new Ascent. They are now on the new ship and they were handling our muster check in. They were both so nice and were thrilled that we’d seen them on the Apex. I mean, come on! How could you miss them. 😂

I enjoyed watched your videos. Love celebrity ships, we are going in April with our son, he is 10 but likes 👍 quite, nice places. We are staying in sky suite, hope it’s fine for 3. It’s so funny that u mentioned two guys that got u into this cruise! They got us into it too!!!! 😊. Keep going and enjoy your life!

Helena, truly, thanks for watching. I’m sure you’ll have a great cruise! As for the kid experience, I don’t think it’s for all kids, but I know when I was your son’s age I would have LOVED it!!! I also liked quiet, nice places. Still do!!! In fact we have three more Celebrity cruises coming up. One on the Summit, and two on the brand new Celebrity Ascent. We are very excited!

@@JLbigadventuresso nice! We went on celebrity summit in July. If u will have the same cruise director as we had, u will be extremely lucky! I am not good with the names, I think Manual he has a cute accent. He made entire trip so so funny! I have to say, this ship is different, way smaller but very nice with great, personal service and great people, very clean, with amazing food but not good shows…. But don’t worry they have so much to offer, music everywhere, activities and parties…. Pool is small but with great activities and nice movies under the sky, speciality restaurants are amazing, all food freshly prepared for u. I am sure u are going to have fun!!! Enjoy! 😊

@helanacohen11 I have heard that the shows ain’t much of a much, but that’s ok. We decided to go on the Summit because we were able to get in a Celebrity Suite for a decent price. Very excited about that! Plus, we are curious about the older ships as we were on a number of them in the 90’s and want to see how they’ve been upgraded. Thanks for all the info!

What are the perks you didn't get from bidding on the suite?

Typically with the sky suite it would come with premium wifi and deluxe drink package. Because we "bid up" we had to pay for those perks. Also, we were in an aqua suite. We lost that perk (the thermal spa) and had to add on. This had not always been the case. We found we didn't really need premium drink package but the wifi is a must.
