Very informative video ❤ Was there any noise from Club Eden at night? I saw another video on deck 7 aft where the noise traveled to their room from the DJ and the couple did not sleep. We are booked in this type of stateroom on deck 10. TIA🙏🏼
We happened to be in a Sunset Veranda on Deck 10 on the Ascent . . and during our cruise, we had no issues with noise. I hope you have a lovely cruise!
You ask an Excellent question! I'll answer specific to Sunset Veranda staterooms (which are usually deeper than regular veranda/balcony staterooms along the sides of the ships. We were happy to see both regular seating and loungers on the sunset veranda balcony. On a Celebrity Cruise earlier this year in a sunset veranda on a different ship, we had higher back regular chairs and foot rests, but not full chaise lounges. It was still comfortable, just different! Not sure why, other than perhaps some balconies have more space than others.
It may have been a little crowded with furniture on the balcony - but only because we pulled furniture in toward the cabin door to keep it from getting misted by the weather. We appreciated having the chaise loungers available - although we used the regular chairs and the table the most. I think your stateroom attendant could help remove a chaise lounge if it took up too much room.
This was at the very back/aft of the ship. We didn't have a feeling of motion or noise on Deck 10 - we slept very well & were comfortable during the day when we enjoyed our stateroom & balcony.
we are looking at cruise but only room is connecting room in sunset veranda on deck 10.. do you feel like that would be an issue noise wise? @@NextWaveCruising
@@everybodyhasstuffpodcast Thanks for your question, I wish I could give you a factual answer based on experience. I really don't know how it would work out for you. Many times - on other ships - we've been happy that we didn't hear much of anything coming through a connecting room. I don't have that experience one way or the other on Ascent. I'm sorry I don't have more info to provide.
@@samboo8924 that's a really good question - you don't always know. Some deck plans show a 'notch' along one wall where the bed is, sometimes it's not clear from the deck plans. Many cruisers check online posts from past cruisers or other websites that publish information about various ship cabins.
@@samboo8924we’re booked in room 10297 that has the bed by the door. According to the deck plan, it’s next to the room shown in this video so maybe the room layout alternates. Our room 10297 also has the deck plan key symbol indicating double sofa while this video room does not. Maybe it’s a way to figure out configuration when looking at the deck plan
