As television producing veteran, this is one of the BEST produced cruise videos I have watched. Your shooting style, writing, editing and voiceovers are spot on. Your story-telling techniques left me wanting more. Do you work in TV or film? If you don't, I am even more impressed. Those pesky LEDs!! :) We are on the Beyond in a few weeks (with reservations at Eden and La Voyage) and this has gotten me even more excited. No, I've never worked in TV or film but I appreciate the art of putting something together that people will hopefully enjoy, so thank you again. :) Those LEDs on Beyond are super frustrating. I tried every shutter speed from 1/30 upwards and still no joy. they must use some ultra low wattage bulbs with slow cycles. You will LOVE Eden and Le Voyage. They were our two favourite evening venues. The staff were so lovely, as was the food. Have a great time and thanks for subscribing! :D
@@visitwithus I will second Steven's comments. As a BBC trained TV editor, director and now a voice over artist, your content should have many more views than it does. The gentle style of your presentation works very well with the subtle, yet accurate camera moves. You need to hit up an agent for voice over work as your delivery is silky smooth, and with a little honing, would be very broadcast ad friendly.
Steven and Nick, I am so happy to see both of your comments because I have stated more than once their content is better than The Travel Channel. I just wish more people would find their amazing channel because I know they would agree with us!
Thank you so much for the very complete guide to Beyond's dining options! Our first Celebrity Cruise was this past March on Apex, the previous ship in Beyond's class. We were very impressed with the food onboard and like you, we discovered Cafe al Bacio the first morning and it became our favorite place for morning coffee, too. I can vouch for Apex's Eden Restaurant as being the best as we had a delightful dinner in a wake view seat as well. I had not been prepared for the Petit Fours and was too full to really appreciate them. The Bake Shop onboard was second to none; all pastries and desserts were perfect. The changes and improvements to Beyond's design and your lovely dining guide convince me I really must book a cruise on Beyond. I got ten Sting/Police references (including lyrics), but I might have missed one or two. :)

This was a brilliant video, my husband and I are cruising in March on the Beyond and your video was perfect to help me decide what and where to eat. I chose Eden for our specialty dining. One thought for us carnivores out there. The Mast Grill will cook your burger to order, that means if you want one freshly ground and med-rare, this is the place to go! Yes there is always the standard disclaimer about undercooked but nothing has happened to us yet. That's just me, a true burger is freshly ground and cook to just being done at best...if not medium. :) Thank you for this video!

Very thorough review of all the dining choices on Beyond! Thank you for sharing all these wonderful options. The ship looks absolutely gorgeous and unique. The food choices look extensive and delicious. Will be looking at Celebrity again (especially Beyond!) after an OK cruise on Silhouette almost 10 years ago.
Going in October and can’t wait to try Eden. Booked for dinner and will definitely try lunch. Loved your video. Extremely helpful and wish I had watched before my trip last Feb on Edge. I would have known to look for Eden cafe and book for dinner. Will definitely be watching more!

Sailing in February on the Equinox, which we love. Sailing Beyond next September, and you've made me wish I was going on Beyond first!! Your review was very thorough. We discovered Cafe al Bacio on our second day on last cruise. It became a favorite meeting spot for our group and the coffee drinkers proclaimed it the best coffee on board! Thank you for sharing!!
We were on the Apex in Greece last September and loved the food in all the restaurants we were able to attend. We did Blu for breakfast a couple of days as well as dinner one evening, it was excellent. We had done Let Petit Chef in August on the Silhouette so we skipped it and did the Fine Cut Steakhouse along with 14 of our group of 18, we also had the sides family style and that would have been more than enough for me, but, we dug in and had the Dover Sole. Everything was perfect. We did not have a chance to do the Magic Carpet as it was only once on our 7 day cruise and I thought it was a bit overpriced. We also did not try Eden for dinner although we did have a quick lunch there and it is a real treat. We did three of the main restaurants and they were really very good and since our passenger numbers were only 501, everything we did felt like we were on a small private yacht. Your video was wonderful and I am very impressed with how Celebrity has really made their cuisine a high priority.
Wow Lou, only 501 passengers? 😲 That’s incredible! Blu is our most favourite restaurant and if we’re eligible to eat in there, we make that our go-to. Next time you must try Eden. It was the highlight for us. 😍

Having only cruised with Celebrity once (on Silhouette), it’s so nice to see so many familiar venues. I’m so glad to see that Craft Social has made its way onto this ship - it’s probably my favourite Celebrity venue as it’s completely chilled out! Also, we opted not to do Le Petit Chef on Silhouette as we thought it might’ve been a bit of a fad, but sounds like we maybe missed out!
Thanks for watching Fraser. Craft Social is a really well designed space on Beyond and super comfy. Problem was, there was always someone on those sofas in front of the huge TV! Such an inviting place to chill with a beer. 😍
@@visitwithus totally agree - I found the Martini Bar a bit ‘showy’ for my liking, so much preferred to grab a pint at Craft! On the plus-side, if the sofas were vacant, you’d maybe have spent a little too long in there…! 🍻
The Craft social looks nice except for the tv, we never watch hockey or football or baseball. We like road cycle racing and these places never show that.
Honestly I have to say that was one of the best produced RU-vid videos I have seen . I been on the Celebrity Apex twice and while its not the Beyond you nailed it.. having said that in about 3 weeks i will be on the Beyond and cant wait till you do a video of the retreat

Great video. We had dinner with win lasting at Eden which was utterly superb on a cruise this Summer on Edge. On par with one star Michelin restaurants.
We are going on the Beyond in June 2024, but Have been on the Edge before, and agree that the Eden Cafe is one of the best kept secrets out there! You don't want to skip that little gem! And Blu if you're Aqua class will spoil you for life! Celebrity has the best Buffet at sea!
Just returned from the Celebrity Edge at the weekend ! Unfortunately not enough staff to deal with it's customers . Very slow service in every MDRs , Eden cafe closed ( staff issues ) we were so looking forward to its famous prime ribb steak sandwich with caramelized onions ! . Early in the cruise we struggled to get a cocktail in the Martini bar ? ( long wait ) We treated ourselves to a speciality restaurant in the Fine cut steakhouse with a nice bottle of red but unfortunately had to wait 1 hour for our starters the rest of the service was also slow so we missed out on the theatre show ! unfortunately a few problems on the Edge with a full complement of passengers at the moment . We have done Celebrity cruses before so we know this isn't the norm I'm hoping this is just a blipp . We visited the future cruise venue and took advantage of the future cruise offer for a anniversary cruise in Australia in 2024 so this experience hasn't put us off . After you cruise with Celebrity you get a e - mail asking about your experiences , it will be interesting how Celebrity respond .
Oh dear, that’s a real pity and very unCelebrity like. We were lucky in our voyage which was sailing at 40% capacity. Let’s hope this was a post pandemic blip and normal service resumes shortly 🤞 Thanks for watching 👍
Really well done and I appreciate the honest feedback on quality and pricing. Seems like after paying so much for the cruise itself that the extra cover charges could make the trip pricy!
If you fancy a burger cooked medium or medium rare, Mast Grill can do it for you and it the flavour cannot be matched. Some people fear health concerns but they will actually go out back and mince you a "fresh" burger for that request. It takes a tiny bit longer...but it was one of the best burgers I ever had. :)

Pretty sure that you could choose any of the premium restaurants in the dining package, though there may have need some restrictions on the menu you could choose in Le Voyage.

Probably the closest you would get to something like that would be the Magic Carpet dining experience, which usually happens once per cruise (as featured at the end of this video).
Though I never select a cruise by the ship itself, an exception may be in order. I haven’t watched many Beyond videos, but you portrayed her beautifully. All the food options look incredible with the possible exception of cartoon gnomes, midgets and other creatures jumping off and into plates. Did you get a chance to meet Captain Kate and her sweet bald cat?
Haha, Le Petit Chef is an unusual dining experience - but it has to be said the food itself was delicious. Yes, we did meet Captain Kate and she was absolutely charming, she chatted to us for ages and made us feel like we were the most important thing she had to do at that moment in time (which I’m absolutely sure we weren’t). I have watched several videos on this ship this is by far the best. Thank you… Also can you answer if room service is included. We like to have coffee delivered in the morning but I don’t want to pay extra, we are booked in a concierge room. This will be our first celebrity cruise but have been on many other cuisines.
looks amazing, we have sailed on 3 other celebrity ships and have always tried to have dinner on the edge, however always booked almost a year in advance, any suggestions. Love to try just once.

Are you hoping to eat all together? I think if you’re such a large group it will depend which restaurants can accommodate you - you may need to contact them and ask them. Our three favourite specialties were Eden, Fine Cut and Le Petit Chef for something a bit different. Eden gets booked out really quickly so again I would contact either celebrity or your TA and get this booked asap. Otherwise the food in the main dining rooms is very good and will be fine for most nights, although if you want to eat as a large group it’s probably best to give them a heads up first. If you have any other questions please ask.
Great video! We are preparing for a long cruise on the Apex. This certainly helps. For the flickering lights I assume you reduced video shutter to at least 25 fps? I need to try some settings on my camera before I go.
Thanks Kevin. The flickering lights can be a problem at all shutter speeds. I nearly always take the shutter down to 1/40 but that means moving the camera quite slowly to avoid excessive motion blur. LED lighting is always a challenge lol!
Absolutely, the food in the included restaurants is amazing and there’s no need to pay extra for the speciality dining. But if you want something a bit different or have a special occasion it’s nice to have the option 👍 Thanks for watching 😊
