I remember that intro music, if i recall it's from WCW vs NWO World Tour for the Nintendo 64. It's crazy how i haven't played that game in over 20 years but i still remember where it's from. I used to stay up late and play with my brothers all the time, great times.

The answer James is they had famous monsters for Halloween episodes. Also Stone Cold Steve Austin use to take the DNA of defeated celebrities and create monsters to fight. Good times great show. I'm sad the Reboot went a little stale but I will definitely be watching old episodes when my children are teenagers

I remember this game lol. Miss cleo's finisher was throwing out tarot cards, and the grim reaper would come out and kill you with his scythe

My Dad actually let me stay up late on the school night the show came on so I could watch it. I always wanted this game. Never got around to getting it...I really should add it to the collection someday...

I remember my mom rented me this game from Blockbuster when I was 11 or 12 years old. I could not stop playing. It's pretty fantastic for what it is and I do agree with James about bringing the show back and seeing more games.

I'm surprised that celebrities like Keith Flint from The Prodigy and Ozzy Osbourne didn't make it in the game. They were on the show and they seem like perfect candidates for a celebrity fighting game.

Marilyn Manson was awesome on the show xD, I think he had the most appearances of any celebrity.

This was one of my favorite games. Also seeing the freezing really brought me back to the PS2 games.

I do recall there actually being a Frankenstein VS Wolfman fight in the show. I remember the Jay Leno VS David Letterman episode having the loch ness monster in it as well and also there was a whole episode where there were fights with monsters like Sarah Michelle Gellar actually fought a real vampire.

I remember the show. Great show. A shame though that the game was actually lackluster in it's roster. I wish I had the money to bring the show back! It was a good show. Another thing I had hoped for was that MTV would make a Gamecube version, but that was cancelled... Now? If MTV wanted to make a fortune, they could actually get RU-vidrs to actually sign up for making Celebrity Deathmatch into a game, or even add Twitch Streamers too. One match I'd like to see is Markiplier VS Pewdiepie! Or Angry Video Game Nerd VS The Completionist!

Celebrity Deathmatch traumatized me as a Kid. It still lingers in my mind today. But thats what i get for seeing adult violent content as a youth.
