What I love about watching her this way is that her whole body changes on stage with each different genre. She doesn’t just sing, she lives and breathes music. Like you said, her musicality is out if this world.
THANK YOU for acknowledging her catalogue. One of the most tragic things to me is that she is mostly known for “My Heart Will Go On” by the US when I believe her biggest selling factor is that she is the most versatile singer (musical style) I have ever heard. She also records in the most languages of any other mainstream recording artist. When I say she’s the greatest singer of all time, it’s more than just her ability, it’s also because of her infinite and unrivaled musicality. Thank you so much for this reaction! I love when you react to Celine! She so endlessly epic!
I truly adore this woman! 😍 In addition to her impeccable voice, captivating vocal ability & incredible musicality, she has such a wonderful personality and a great sense of humour. It seems like she's the most underrated member of the *Vocal Trinity!* ✨ P.S. Her runs really catch me off guard 🌌
You def just whistle noted “scat”. I wanna see a vid of your vocals. Your tone and those runs anytime you casually try the runs you hear is spot on. Love watchin your vids man
Yes, Celine's versatility/musicality is unmatched. On top of all of that, she can also mimic many instruments flawlessly. Please react to her 2018 vocal compilations. She's STILL got it!
Love your who else?! haha. The first performance you said you wanted to react to was Misled 1994 on Jay Leno. The video is Misled c.dion 1994. The second one where you asked what performance is this would be better to react to IMO, is this: CELINE DION POR AMOR - Have A Heart (Live Winter Garden 1991). Others claim their faves are versatile, Celine is versatile deluxe. Her catalog is a gold mine, the woman has given us so much greatness. One of the true queens of ALL time. p.s. i was shook by your high note when you said scat lol.
You always make me happy when you're reacting in Celine's videos 😂 she's complete package. True legend. Not only with voice but also a great personality and a good heart 🙂🙂
The folk song is "Je lui dirai" (I will tell him), a Quebec folk-style song to her unborn son about what she will teach him, the lyrics are amazing. The first line, translated is. ,"I will tell him that his grandpa comes from this country, and that he was a lumberjack" - basically that she will teach him about what he comes from, the beauty of heaven and earth and all the people on it. and of course, humility and love. From her album "Une fille et 4 types" *A girl and 4 guys*
Sorry to say that je lui dirai is not a Quebec style song but an italian style song called Tarentelle. Jean Jacques Goldman (french artist) composed and wrote that song. Celine asked him of composing a song in the style of Tournent les violons (Jean Jacques Goldman's song)
i love that i've heard a majority of these songs and she's so willing to try genres that are outside her usual standards. gotta love her for that musicality. i can't even remember her contemporaries going for broke. definitely stands out for me in this video.
Also Barbra Streisand, Cher, Patti Labelle, Paul McCartney, Barry Gribb, Carole King, Diana Ross, Dionnie Warwick, Sir Elton John, Tina Turner and more!
Dustin aka dtcsk oh yeah Cher I love Cher and Elton john but I'm not really a fan of the rest you said so they dont come into my mind when I think legend... Not that there not legends just not a fan...
So much of her versatility is in her French songs. If you've never listened to her French music, you're missing about 90% of her catalogue when it comes to variety.
You the only one ive seen who whistled in awe of this amazing queen 😂 The pop-dance you were talking about btw is Misled, the other one is Have a Heart.
I love that she still floors you LoL I have said it for years... she IS a MUSICIAN and the voice is her instrument! Glad you get the tremendous talent she is... few know the many Celines I have had the privilege to see ( I do not know her well personally but I know many who have worked with her...) I believe the song you you want to react to is Misled circa 1993-94 and 4:30 is called (baby) Just have a heart I think this clip os from the JUNOs it is a song she originally recorded in French Partout de te vois ( she was 18 or 19 when she recorded the French version)...I Hope this helps your searches :-)
Celine Dion is definitely one of the best singers this world has seen, in TOP 5 female singers for sure together with Whitney and Mariah....She is probably the most versatile in her voice.
Hahahaa gosh I keep on nodding my freaking head along the whole video, I mean she is not amazing, she defines PERFECTION!!!!!! Never get tired of Célineeeeeeee
Love how you actually know what your talking about on the technical side off things. I've learnt heaps just watching your videos. I love this song, Celine dion- Regarde Moi 2013
The song you mentioned wanting to react to is called Misled. It's one of those songs that I never really cared for until seeing a live version and suddenly it was like the song made sense. Definitely one of those songs made for live performances lol
This video is great and yes she can sing all! I love your reactions too man - so much attitude and spunk! 'Saaangg' 'Whattt' 'Whooo elseee' lol. I also agree 'I will never get over Celine Dion'. Hi from Australia and hope all is well. Pls keep posting 👍
Céline Dion.... Is the Best Singer in the WORLD of All Times in Music History!!!.... She Is a Truly LIVING LEGEND and ICON of World Music!!!.... Facts,TRUTH!!! Aa UNIQUE INCREDIBLE TALENT!!!.... Simply INCOMPARABLE Singer!!!...
Queen Celine can sing any genre. Truly amazing. She doesn’t just sing the song vocally her entire body is moving to the music. Her yodel is fantastic! I’ve always heard that can be hard to do and control.
"What performance is this?" I don't know the show, but the song is "Misled", my very favorite Celine song. I love soooo many of her songs, but her early dance pop stuff holds a special place in my heart (my second favorite is "If There Was Any Other Way").
The angelic voice is lovely. Thanks for your reaction. Would like to recommend to react Hua Chenyu's "Ordinary Path" & Nunchucks", his stage performance is awesome & amazing. Please share of his music…Thanks.

They could’ve actually included Ma force from her most recent French album for country. If you listen to it, it’s produced and sang just like a current country song like what Reba makes currently. It shocked me when I heard it the first time.
I rejoice whenever anyone appreciates Celine the way she should be appreciated. I have tattoos over 40% of my body and certainly I don’t “look” like someone that would be a fan. Fan is an understatement. This woman is a legend and most of our legends have unfortunately passed. She is living, breathing and the best female vocalist of recorded time. This woman is flawless. Sorry, I got a smidge creepy there, I just love her more than anything.
OMG! I almost died choking on my water. Hahahaha! That country bit at 3:04 is from a comedy show called "La Petite Vie" that was very popular in Québec in the 90's. It's a caricature of cheesy French Canadian Country music! Not meant to be taken seriously at all!
A great video that showcases her love of genres and how she dabbles here and there. She has a lot of great music over the years as well as collaborations in different events both US and international. Something that sets her apart from her peers.
The ''french Country'' part, is more of a joke. The original song ''C'est Noël car il neige dans ma tête'' (it's christmas because it's snowing in my head) is a joke, and it's not a Country song. But, I don't remember that episode, but, it was a Christmas special for a Quebecois sitecom named, La Petite Vie (The Little Life) it was huge here in Quebec. So yeah, for whatever reason, they decided to make the song more country for that special, wich is fine because, two of the writers of the song are the writers for that show and play the father, Pôpa and the mother, Môman (yes, the mom is play by a man).
