She's Québécoise. Québec have a different culture and history of the rest of Canada and French Canadian. Céline Dion have this cultural Québec difference in the Heart and soul.
She speaks French fluently, since it's her first language, and then she learnt English in a year,so her career is both French and English, however she's sung in Latin, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin-Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Thai, and more.
Even if you don't understand a word she's saying, she manages to make you feel it. Her french discography is better than her english and she has also sung in Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. Plus she has an amazing opera voice. But the most special about her is how funny, kind and humble she is despite all her worldwide fame, success and money. You should definitely go and see her live, the videos don't do justice to her voice. It's actually unbelievable, but everyone who has gone to her show realizes it afterwards.
LOVE THIS!!! Céline is French Canadian born in Quebec. She didn’t learn English until she was 18/19 years old, she went to school. And 4 years later she debuted in America in 1990!! And she is the best selling french artist in history as well as the best selling female artist in history!!!’ Madonna, Céline, Mariah 👑
Celine started off her career in French and is the best-selling french artist of all time. You should check out some of her other iconic french performances! Here are my favourites 1. Le bues du businessman 1995 2. Priere Paienne 1996
If they are your favorites we definitely need to check them out! We will look over our schedule and see when we can fit in one of these reaction videos. Thank you so much for watching our channel, she is so impressive 🥰❤️
You should check out Céline’s very first song “ce n’etait qu’un rêve” When she recorded it she was only 12 years old! She wrote it with her mum and brother. Also Céline is French Canadian and she learned English when she was 18 years old ❤️✨✨
From a little 12 years old girl to what she accomplish, she is a hard worker, take english lesson, singing lesson to improve her voice to reach all the potential of it, everything have to be perfect so she work a lot and made a lot of sacrifice in her life to be that good. she is kind, humble, a great human being. We love her in my country and cherish her.
@@LacosteAlain this performance was for victims of 9/11. She came out of a 2 year hiatus only for this performance. They’re not saying the song was written during that time.
@@thisisdnareacts5237 indeed can you please react to this link here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jnXNt4fJqj4.html (the first time ever i saw your face)
She started out singing French , it’s her native language. Was huge in Canada and France long before she added english singing to her slate. She had to learn how to speak English.
As a French, I always preferred her English-speaking career. I love her French songs very much from the beginning of her career (1981) to 1994 (after it's not my thing), and especially those written by the late Eddy Marnay. I love the two first Christmas albums she did in the early 80's (Celine Dion chante Noël and Chants et contes de Noël) and this song "Ma chambre". So of course I'm waiting to see your next reactions to her French songs. Thanks to you!!
@@thisisdnareacts5237 Yes, If you can react to "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)" a song about the love of a woman for a gay man, "un peu plus haut, un peu plus loin" a live duet with Ginette Reno it is very emotional!!! And "Zora sourit" a song about the Algerians women.
Love over hate is the message... crowd goes wild, but she quiets then down with the next note... love prevails, despite bombs falling all around us, and our world collapsing...
She was singing in French her first Language. To truly appreciate the feeling of this song you have to understand what the lyrics mean. It is a beautiful love song. In the middle of the song where she really belts it out singing "beyond the violence, beyond the craziness, and in spite of the bombs that are falling at the four corners of the world" L'amour existe Encore" Love Still Exists
This is after the 9/11 attacks, and very appropriately, some of the lyrics are: 3:35 The world is run by madmen / My love it's up to us / To love us more / Beyond Violence / Beyond Dementia / In spite of the bombs that fall / All over the world... The crowd reacting at that time.
I recommend you to react to: 1- "Fly " in Oprah show by celine Dion is an English version of "vole" in her french album. 2- "Le blues du businessman" by Celine Dion concert in 1995 in Paris
French ❤️ is her native tongue. You should hear her singing in Mandarin. Here’s a video of that -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-szkl60mtdJ0.html
@@thisisdnareacts5237 I’m glad but for me the best documentary ever made from Celine is this one a world 🌎 tour with Celine and you will see how Celine is known worldwide this is for me the best documentary ever made for Celine it’s a 2 hours documentary but it’s worth every minutes of it it’s a must see for you to really know what Celine represents for the entire planet 🌎 here’s the video I just hope you will see it and love it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2BT24pGJU50.html
Great reaction but too bad you don’t have seen this video with the English subs however available for it... you would have a better understanding of the emotional content added to the event this rendition was done for (despite the first purpose of this song was not the 9/11 attacks but about AIDS spreading in the 90”s....)). I highly recommend you to have another look at it (on your own) with the English subtitles to appreciate it all.
*You don't know the words "AMOUR" or "ENCORE"???? 2 famous French words... and at the end of the video, she says "MERCI, BONSOIR".* *You know she's from Québec, she speaks French. You never heard her singing in French before? incredible... I don't want to be rude but the rest of the World feels uncomfortable with american lack of culture lol.* 🤦🏼♂🤡
I've taken the liberty to translate this song for y'all: when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists all my wayward years all, I'd give them all up to anchor myself to your dock The solitude that I fear that watches me from the end of my path I will expel it To love you, once and for all To love you cost what may Despite this evil that runs And puts love to death when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists Love still exists We weren't on the same side But, at the end of the day we don't care Whether we're right or wrong This world is led by fools My love, it's up to us To love each-other better Beyond the violence Beyond the senility Despite the bombs that fall At the four corners of the world when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists Love still exists (X3) To love you, once and for all To love you cost what may Despite this evil that runs And puts love to death when I fall asleep next to your body then, I have no doubt love still exists
