oh trust me, as a beginner these geared pegs are life-savers. I stopped playing cello after a few weeks given its a PAIN to tune. Now im no longer afraid of tuning. Even the SVC50 (which is a lot cheaper than the 210) has the geared pegs which are also buttery smooth to tune.

@@mallinmall1327 The geared tuners really make a big difference. I think all Violins, Violas, & Cellos (and lots of instruments that normally have friction pegs) would benifit from Geared tuners (just like a Guitar & Bass) because they'll hold tune better, tuning is simpler, & you can get away w/ using a string widner for fast string changes. I'm afraid they'll have to phase out all the friction pegs & fine tuners, and just stick to using geared tuners. Also the removal of the fine tuners from the Tailpiece allows the instrument to vibrate more freely once you install the geared tuning keys. Geared tuners are more than just life savers, they're necessary & more superior (as well as more updated) than friction pegs cause now you can use a string winder when restringing your Cello (Yinfente makes them for Acoustic Cellos too, & I'm getting a 5 String version of that Geared tuning key set for my 5 String Cello). A D'addario Pro Bass String winder is a good tool to throw into your case.

Concernant le SvC-50 c est un violoncelle d étude abordable avec une bonne approche, il y a pas mal de paramètres, le jeu reste proche du violoncelle traditionnel et il est pour moi tout à fait acceptable. Le son sera juste plus fermé que le SVC-210 mais aura la même sensibilité sur les intentions d interprétations. N’hésitez pas à m’écrire sur Instagram si vous souhaitez en discuter.
