Thank you so much for these videos, you've helped me a lot! I took the IELTS exam and got 5.5RD 6WR 6LS and 8.5SP(The minimum score needed to express entry is 6). I was so disappointed and decided to take the Celpip exam hoping to achieve a better score. At first, I was nervous about this decision since I read many comments online about the difficulty of the Celpip grading process. However, after watching your videos the night before my exam, I received 7WR 11SP 10LS 12RD. my CRS rating went from 410 to 477! I owe you a large cup of Coffee lol. cheers

I am really having a hard time in reading part of the test. Other 3 parts I am doing excellent. On Sunday Nov 18th, It will be my 3rd time taking the CELPIP. Any clues, how you got 12 in reading???

Hi! Thanks for the lesson! xylem sap - starch - tapped by drilling holes - the exudes sap - refined - world output - supply - is graded - scales - translucency - sucrose - waffles - oatmeal - porridge - sweetener - commonly occurring - get the monkey off your back. I think your strategy works perfectly because we can't remember all what we read. Take care!

Hi Thanks for indispensable information on practicing task 3. I think this is the best way .i.e. reading the paragraphs and then choosing the right options .with other option, it is not possible to keep the information in mind and choosing the right answer after going through the whole comprehension. So I had to write a comment to review this. It was the best strategy you proposed! I have trouble focusing when it comes to reading, I got 8 in each but 5 in reading last time I had the test, I had to retake it, I watched your video a night before my test and implemented the strategy you recommended. VERY USEFUL! I just got my results it is 8 I really can't believe it. THANK YOU Mark!! :)

That strategy is good idea because if i,i always read it the whole story first before answering the questions thats why it took me so long to finished answering the questions and what i read doesn't sink in,in my mind.Thank you mark for that strategy.

I have a question the example which u discuss in this video looks little bit easier in the real exam the level of the question is equal or little but higher? and 10 minutes is the only time? for this part of reading?

first of all thanks for the tips, in this particular video, it would be great if you could add more slides. after para a do not show answers show only questions we get time to answer it the give the second slide marked correct answers. Once para b is completed show slide where only a is marked give time for the viewers to answer B by themselves and then show the slide with correct answers that would help a lot.

Hi Mark, the strategy which you mentioned in this video is really effective. And you know what I took the snapshot of both paragraphs and questions together before getting to know the answers and attempted to give the answers on my own. I got surprised, it worked out I gave 8 right answers out of 9. I gave the incorrect answer to question # 5 and still confused about it because I didn't get the information that "Many people use maple syrup in their breakfast in the paragraph "D". Can you please help me with that? Thank you for being so helpful.

"Maple syrup is often used as a condiment" = "People put maple syrup on their breakfast foods." Pancakes and waffles are breakfast foods. Thanks so much! 😃😃
