Thank you Mark again for this video. I scored all in the practice questions. I discovered that listening to the viewpoint with my mind & visualizing the context as if watching a news helps me remember most of the details. For the homework question, C is the answer. Amnesty International and Qatari Authorities.

Hey Mark, I really love the way you teach everything with so many great ideas. . I am taking CELPIP exam on coming Saturday in January. I answered 4 out of 6 . . Although, I am not good in taking notes but if I take notes also, most of the time don't get that chance to have a look on and use them, coz it's too quick . . There is no chance to use and no time for wait then go for the answer. Anyways thank you so much for all your support, ideas and tips for celpip. Hopefully I will meet you soon in Canada if i score high.

C is the right answer. As qatar authorities oppose the view point of amnestry. It's bit tricky, but if you read the question well then it make sense.

Got the right answer 5 out of 6, even though made a guess on 3 of them. Is it necessary to take notes on all the opposing viewpoints? And my answer is C for the homework. Although "migrant workers" have been mentioned in the paragraph, they are just a group of people who involve in the issue, instead of the party that is making the opinions about the issue.

Yes, it's very hard! No, unfortunately you cannot see the questions before listening!

As compared with NEWS announcer's voice speed , your reading speed is too much slower and yr pronunciation is clear as well. so, i can understand.but in reality,it is difficult for me to understand the words in news speed.anyway thanks a lot!

Interesting first i was thinking the opposing party is amnesty international only as it was not mention about worker opposing it and Qatari authority is rejecting the claim but later i read the question carefully ,it was asked who opposing party actually so the answer would be amnesty and Qatari authorities.thanks for posting the video as there hardly nay material available for celpip preparation.....i have the test on 16 feb ,last week decided to attempt it and booked date ,hopefully will do well with very little preparation.

I have an issue with Part 4 : 6 , answers is always based on your elicitation and not literally as you know, it's either I take notes or I depend on my memory , can't do both together , as I am not English Native speaker , what I need to do to enhance my Listening Skills ? I installed CBC Radio App on my mobile , I listen to Canadian short news or news , I understand up to 90% of speech even more , I read from : www.thestar.com www.ctvnews.com www.cbc.ca www.theglobeandmail.com I keep reading a topic every day in either: Economy Parent Real Estate Travel Schools Sports Fashion & Style Classifieds Food & Wine Diversions Health & Wellness Entertainment Homes I also list the words I dont know and develop 2 synonyms and 1 antonym and example per each one ,, what else I have to practice ? I dont know what I have to do to enhance my listening skills ? I am targeting 8 to 9 at least ,, I dont know how !!! is podcast effective here ? I appreciate your advice in steps I can rely one. Thanks in Advance
