This song will be played for my father's funeral next week after a long illness with dementia,he's at peace now after 81 year's. Buried in his green suit and the shamrock on his coffin. R.i.P dad,a true Celtic man all his day's 💚🤍💛
I’ve just finished the book 16 lives, Joseph Mary Plunkett, what a beautiful, lovely, brave, clever young man, a freedom fighter beyond words, my 17 year old granddaughter is reading it now( she’s a beautiful rebel also) Ireland will be united one day sooner than later, god bless all the freedom fighters, god bless Celtic FC, I love everything they stand for like freedom for Palestine , free speech and their Irish hearts, ☘️🇮🇪
Had the absolute pleasure to be at Celtic Park this day for the Glasgow Derby, visiting from Sydney. Grace, Atherney, YNWA, Depeche Mode and then our own Live it Up to finish (after Angie’s boys smashed Rangers!)
At such times .. Celtic Park .. becomes a temple of almost transcendental rapture... similar to that of NDEs......the collective ancient celtic ancestory..is channelled from the mystic into the physical.... magic in motion
I find it hard as a Rangers fan (from Aus and having been to quite a few Rangers games when I was over) to not love Celtic and it's atmosphere, and their several hair on the back of your neck ballads, even love the Celtic anti monarchy nonsense, which for some unknown reason Rangers support.. Conflicted supporter!
I get it a bit, most rangers fans are working class folk also, the daft religious divisions created by ‘our past masters’ to keep us down , anyway good luck mate
And graces sister was married to one of the 1916 signatories who was also executed Thomas Clark . Giffford girls were catholic boys were Protestant .anyone who sings this song KNOWS what it is about . 😢
