Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals just wrapped up and WHAT A GAME! We had Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner and the Indiana Pacers almost upset Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and The Boston Celtics until Brown hit the game tying 3-pointers to send it into overtime. Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye and Allie Clifton are joined by none other than ESPN analyst, Kendrick Perkins to break it all down. The we preview the Western Conference Finals match-up between Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and The Dallas Mavericks vs. Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Who will come out on top between the Mavs and the Wolves? Who knows but WE CAN'T WAIT!

Hey Perk, you had one of the great Celtic shooters Pierce, one of the great sharpshooters in NBA history Allen, one of the great power forwards of all time Garnett, and a terrific young point guard in Rondo. Or "look at all he does with little help, and bad rosters". Granted he's a generational player, but he rarely had any narrative of he had a cakewalk to the finals. Sometimes things of the eastern conference being weaker were said, but that's been every year for 3 decades. As far as the Warriors no one serious says those championships aren't warranted, they were a dynasty. before during and after Durant they were elite. sure every succesful or dominate team has some hate, but the way media is finding everything possible amd turns it to a negative against the celtics is incredulous. sports media is supposed to be neutral, no matter what teams are playing.

The goal post is always moving! No matter what they do. They went by a lot, the posing team they were playing was not competition enough. They won a clutch game, they won because the opposing team lost. In order for them to get respect they just want them to do the most. Even winning a game is not enough!

Perk really wants the Celtics to win, but the heartbreak has made him cynical. The issue is that the Celtics have coasted, whereas the Pacers have been tested and have had to rise to the occasion. That means that the Celtics are in cruise mode, and the Pacers are in battle mode. Yesterday was evidence of that, and it may be difficult for the Celtics to change gears...

To be fair, Pacers were just making crazy contested and somewhat lucky shots too: Hali's 3's at the end of the 3rd, his halfcourt logo from the end of the half, Nesmith had a lucky and-1 bounce, Turner making off the dribble stepback 3's like Steph. They're def capable of making shots, but these are the same shots I've seen them consistently miss most of these playoffs. The Celtics defense can and should be better, but pacers were making shots at the same time and the Celtics kept it close
