I remember when KG came to Boston, it was my freshman year of college. Me and my friends watched all 82 games + playoffs that year. By far my favorite team of all time. Good times I'll never forget.
as a Spurs fan I never really liked KG...but he had my mad respect during all his career. a player you love having on your team but you hate playing against.

As a Laker fan, I hated the Celtics, but always recognized their talent and I respect them more than the Heat. I miss the old Celtic and Laker teams; its a shame to see both these franchises are on the road to rebuilding especially how they use to play against each other. One day they will go at it again with stacked rosters
Same here my friend, I'm also a Laker and I hate the Celtics for the sake of the rivalry, but they are the team I respect the most, excluding the Lakers of course :P I always thought it was the respect these two teams have for each other that makes the rivalry all the more intense, that makes fans of each love to hate the rival

Players like KG are rare/non-existent now in the NBA, basketball in the 80s and 90s are nothing like the NBA now. Gone were the days when physical basketball was played. Still waiting to see if another Garnett will appear in my lifetime

That team should have won 2 titles. Most painful championship a Boston team did not win was that 2010 Championship over the Lakers, because the Celtics were actually better.
