I was at the game tonight, and it was clear that the Mavs were not going to win unless Luka and Kyrie both had monster games. In the middle of the 4th, there were 4 players on the court with Kyrie who had zero points. THJ, DJJ, Maxi, Green, Exum, and Gafford together had 13 points in the entire game. No team can win a championship like that.

I’m sick and tired of everyone blaming the Mavs role players. They literally stand around on offense and never touch the ball because Luka and Kyrie want to go iso 1 on 1 every possession. And then on defense they have to play 3 on 5 and try to box out 2 guys because Luka and Kyrie don’t play a lick of defense. Luka was horrendous tonight. 11-27 shooting with 33 flops and 16 temper tantrums and 6 stupid fouls. Dude gave up countless backdoor cuts and got blown by repeatedly. He also gave the Celtics free buckets because he would be on the other side of the court bitching and moaning to the refs because they didn’t call a foul when he flopped and the Celtics were getting easy lay ins. I would be furious if I was a Mavs role player. Getting blamed for this series when Kyrie was a no show for the first two games and Luka completely cost them the game tonight and every other game on the defensive end. No wonder why guys don’t want to play with that dude. He’s the most immature cry baby in the league. Zero leadership. J Kidd needs to stop coddling him. PJ Washington had played great for all 3 games, Lively was great tonight. Tatum has been terrible the whole series. Brown/Holiday/White should be 1-2-3 for MVP voting.
