Do you know how to remove center console in Volvo XC40? I can't remove small decorative panel on the left of display screen. It looks like I need to remove first plastic cluster above steering wheel control, but I don't know where to put tool to unblock it.
Just commenting here because it is the newest video. I just changed my battery. I have seen several people claim that it is necessary to let the car know that the battery is now so that the car provides the correct charge. Is this correct? Is there actually some sequence of button pushes that the owner can do that tell the car that it is a new battery? I have watched some of your videos on maintenance reset, but this appears to be different. I guess technically, it would be to reset the BMS without VIDA. I thought I had emailed you once before.
Yes you need to connect car with diagnostic tool and reset battery 🔋 counters to zero. But I made my videos for people that don’t have access to those special tool. I appreciate your comment You can use an after market scanner to reset counters I hope 🤞 I helped. Thanks for the subscribe 👊🏽
@@VolvopediaGuy Thank you, but aren't there ways to use a sequence of button pushs... like the rear fog light switch and emergency flasher switch, that reset to 0? I have watched a few videos, but trust an actual Volvo technician for the best information...fhanks
