In addition to running tourist excursions, the Black River & Western switches several industries between Three Bridges and Ringoes, New Jersey. Most of the more consistent freight work takes place at the Three Bridges end of the line, but as needed, a full line run is made to a drywall customer at Ringoes.
On this trip, we catch an SW1200 with two loaded centerbeams as they make the journey across the line. After the final shot, the cars are switched into the industry, and the power is tied down at the railroad's shops. Before beginning the chase, we're also treated to a Loram MOW vehicle passing on the NS Lehigh Line, which parallels the Black River & Western from Three Bridges to where the BRW turns south into Flemington.
