What would be interesting is all these finance gurus actually showed us their portfolio and how that looked like. It's one thing to have a lot of advice on how people should invest...but what are they doing?

I always think Land investment is the best because only the government can pose a threat to your land. Lands always appreciate compared to other properties. I hope the government won't introduce their punitive tax ideas to lands the way the did to motor vehicles and other businesses.
