2:54 I just want to leave this here as someone who had CSR. I had very bad distortio and micropsia, and with time (ane after complete fluid resolution which took roughly 2 months) it did go away. I remember hearing this when my micropsia was really bad and I was super depressed. A few months later, I can contirm that it CAN go away, with time and proper healing. I hope this comment helps anyone going through this and feeling discouraged by this statement. Hang in there, it will get better.

thank you for this message. Please if you see this...what kind of symptoms did you have? did you take anything to reduce inflammation? How old were you when it happened? Were you stressed on or stereoids prior to it happening? I have 2 weeks with it , got it diagnosed 3 days ago. please if you see this it would mean the world to me to see your answer. God bless you

Appreciate this comment - however my CSR came back maybe 10 times of the last five years and my ophthalmologist told me this year I have permanent retina damage - basically my vision in my right eye will be warped forever. I'm trying to prove him wrong with red light therapy, avoiding alcohol, good sleep, exercise, and diet. We will see!

I was just diagnosed with CSCR this month. I am waiting for a referral to a retina specialist. I go to acupuncture once a week and they have modified my treatment to include something to help my eye. I hope it goes away. I am 72 with high blood pressure that was untreated until this year. It seems to be helping me see better and things are not so blurry and dark in my central vision. Thank you for all the information and great comments.

Good morning, I live in Honduras, and went to Miami to be checked in the Baptist Hospital. I don’t remember the name of the Doctor. I have this eye pathology diagnosed like 20 years ago in my left eye. I’am 46 with a BMI of 24.5, so I’am a healthy person with no other problems from high blood pressure or diabetes, or Cholesterol. Where is your practice? At the end of the video you don’t mention the prognosis of the treatments available as for right now in 2018 with laser or other treatment. Maybe I can make a visit to you somewhere in the near future. Maybe you should look into the Type A personality deeper and yes I’am a very stressful person. Thank you!

1940, first case of this diseas, in that period the fluorescent lamp was invented. This lamp produces blue light, this tip of light messes your cortizol level. Same with the light of your computer and phone.

I noticed that it has something to do with the time I spend watching TV and phone, although they use LED, not fluorescent light.

I got this, medication & vitamins helped at first, but didn't resolve the problem. After 6 months my symptoms were mild, but it was irritating and I was concerned about possible progress of the disease, so I decided to try some natural ways to fix it. The thing that worked for me, was going into intermittent fasting and lowering carbs intake. I was shocked, but 80% of the symptoms were gone after about a week of 18/6 IF. Now I'm following 20/4 pattern, occasionally doing longer fasts, feeling great, my vision acuity improved, and I'm not going back to "normal". I think this is caused by high cortisol/insulin levels, search for dr Jason Fung if you want to know more about IF and autophagy

I have had CSR going on a year now from major stress back in 2019. Everything is twice as large in my left eye than in my right eye. I'm desperate for a natural solution. Following expensive tests and exams, I was told that a cold laser is the only option but the CSR may return. I will try IF, or OMAD, thank you for your comment.

But is IF good to lower cortisol levels ? When you are hungry, your cortisol level raises. The other problem for me is that I'm already too thin. Intermittent fasting would make me lose more weight, and I am bellow the limits.

Has anyone here ever had CSR while also taking opiates for anything? I'm 39 male and got it in the left eye. I've been taking hydrocodone/acetaminophen about last 6 months for my knee. Does painkiller increase cortisol somehow? Never taken any steroids so it's not that.

I have it the last 10 years, lately I started a diet against skin disease that I have. My Dr told my that scr is a autoimmune condition also. I cat off Bred and all the grain products, I cot off all the milk products, I cot off sugar and all sugar products, I cot off Alkohol. Beleave my people I have 80 % improvement less than a month! And I see emprovment every day! And I didn't hade any covid vaccine! And didn't took any of the treatments! You see it comes from the inside body stress, more than daily stress.

In August I got the first covid19 pfizer shot, and since that day, I started to have strong headaches. First 3 or 4 days, the headaches were strong and persisted for the majority of the days. The following days, the headaches were less stronger and less frequent. However, after 3 weeks or so from the first shot, I started to see a white ring everytime I blinked my eye. Because of this stain, and because of the headaches, I decided to go to an ophthalmologist. With an OCT, the doctor told me it was serous central chorioretinopathy. Told me to relax, and take 1 eyedrop every 12 hours of nevanac. In September, I decided to go again to the doctor because this stain was affecting now my vision, the stain moved to my central vision, so I'm having more difficulties to focus closely and at distance. In darker places, I tend to view much worse. However, a week ago, I notice an improvement only in at distance. 4th October, I'm gonna visit the doctor again so they can monitor. I found a paper from a university recently that 3 doctors associate a case of CSR to the pfizer covid19 vaccine. Anyone agree with this? Anyone know more about this? Actually, with me, this problem happend when I got the pfizer shot. I'm worried about this because it's affecting my good eye. The other eye, is what the doctors call the lazy eye, and I was born with this. I hope I can improve because I can't stop working! Thanks and I wish fast and fully recovery for everyone.

Hi Steven, I got CSC in June on my OD. The doctor I was seeing told me to wait for natural resolution but it got worse everytime I went to see him. By october he did the Laser and the micropulse laser (2 spots). 3 weeks later the fluid was gone but micropsia persisted, and the image size of my OD is much smaller than the good eye that is hard to focus things with both eyes open;.. You said it never goes away, is that true or there is something I can do? I saw that I could use glasses with size lens but the maximum that they enlarge is 6%. Is that true? I'm desperate and Im' 35. Thank you so much for the video!

How are you doing darling? Did your eye become normal?
@LuisPontual

@@douglasabrego807 Thanks for asking, Douglas. But it did not. In fact, I got CSC to the other eye but this time it resolved itself with minor damage. I'm much better now, psychologically speaking, but it wasn't easy.
