That guy was petty af. He knew he would die, so he decided to make Vorenus miserable for life thinking that his children are dead. That without considering those kid in slavery. Still, Vorenus gave him a too fast death.
I don't think he had time to give him a slow painful death. Chances are someone outside heard the din going on there and went for help somewhere. But yeah, I believe the kids were sold into slavery and not killed.
Yeah, Erastes reaction to that was pretty priceless. Two bloodstained killers and 20 dead men at their feet dont exactly lead you to think your in for a merciful time of things 😂.
It was revenge for Lucius's children, and a lot of other things. And there was nothing that we could do about it. Lucius was a son of Hades, and Erastes wasn't. And we had to sit still and take it. It was among the Italians. It was real greaseball shit.
The despair and almost comical rage Kevin McKidd emotes when Lucius Vorenus, DRENCHED in the blood of his enemies, asks for the second time where are his children...is...magnificent.
Imagine spent an entire year in the army outside their home country only then their families slaughtered by gangs who never been into the army for simply because how easy for that place to Rob

@@Tiny_Dude yeah I know man and that makes me so sad....I have no hope cause today’s culture is all about super hero movies and “diversity”...we don’t have enough people who appreciate history anymore and it’s ridiculous cause shows like this practically write themselves so much history to make content
