On a regular AK that's for removing the gas tube. Since 9mm guns are direct blowback thetube is there only for aesthetics.

We compared the 3 dracos in a Combat Handguns Magazine article. It's not fair to include the Zpaps, they're not the same quality they used to be

Meaning the Zpaps aren't as good as the old M models

I bought two early Zastava USA guns, both failed quickly.

Sounds like you're not getting the front of the dust cover fully in place. Make sure you burry it in its groove before lowering the back down.

Romanian

It is a stamped receiver.

More compact and more powerful than an AR in 5.56, but VERY loud and flashy.

Not having owned one I’m a just say yes though.

The Micro Draco also has more “fireball” than the full-sized Draco.

Back when they designed it, they needed a single stack receiver to fit the new import laws. They probably decided that reinforcement plates are harder to fuck up than dimples, since Century was widening mag wells manually with dremel tools.

Jorge Ojeda I’ve always been told the American made ones suck but I have no personal experience with them.

I have the Romanian imported one. It’s great! Had it a few years never had an issue

I have Century’s C39 V2 and a micro Draco. The Romainian ones are way better

Yes, but the drop off is quicker. Look at it like a tidal wave crash versus river current.

@@GBGuns Just looking at your Draco and seeing that pin compared to mine, I think it is no different maybe just a little sloppier. Also I took a punch tool and applied some abnormal pressure to it to see if I could punch it out. Nothing, which is good. But I will get the retaining plate in there as soon as I can. Thanks for the reply!

I keep my guns pretty dry, but a light coat of oil should go anywhere steel drags on steel. After a hundred rounds or so you'll see these spots easily as they'll have a shine on them. This is a universal rule that applies to all guns.

I don't think it is, I'll have to take a look and compare.

@@GBGuns I would guess the whole trigger group may be lower though I guess not just the trigger axis pin. The bottom of the receiver is bulged where the pin is too and I don't see that on other AKs, although I've not seen them all.

Not one, but two! Walking pins, binding trigger, fake stain on the "Alpha" model. Total waste of money compared to the old M models.

You'll likely need to drill and tap the end of the receiver

@@GBGuns hmm seems as if it would just be easier to buy a 12.25 draco with a stock adapter already on, would you recommend a Romanian draco over a Zastava? I know theres a bit of a price difference, I'm not to worried about that

@@TheWeekendShooter308 Yes I would. We had a terrible experience with not one, but TWO Zastava USA Z models. If you can find another M they're good,just heavy. For the finest build look for a WBP

@@aubrey5569 Draco-C. They were built with the underfolder rear trunnion I believe is the only difference.

@@aubrey5569 Makes it easier to drill and tap the rear of the receiver to install a pig nose adapter or an Ace folding mechanism for an arm brace because you have more material to tap threads into. Plus, if you go the SBR route with one you can drill out the sides of the receiver and just add the underfolder without needing to change trunnions.
