How about you buy a parts washer. Maybe use some dawn dish detergent, not the knock off stuff either. Soak in CLR. So many methods to preventing that oil leaking.
I have an ultrasonic cleaner and use a degreasing agent per Cerakote/NIC standards. Oil permeates the metals in rifles and shotguns an insane amount. It’s not surface oil. You have to bake it out and repeat the cycle if more comes out. This particular SKS also had been treated with acetone at least once and was still bleeding.
@@Gunner411 Ahhh that's what you meant by it bleeding out. That's crazy AF. I wasn't aware metal was porous. I looked it up and sure enough it is. Unless it's something like stainless steel. That's nuts! Thank you so much for replying and explaining your process.
