Review of the TJ exclusives cerapad, a ceramic coated glass mousepad. Like most glass pads it is very expensive ($120) and hard for me to personally recommend, but the performance is solid no doubt. Idk about those 20% better aim claims on their website though LOL, and constantly wiping dust off the surface does get annoying

Skypad 2.0. (latest version)> Cerapad> Skypad 3.0. I got the last version of Skypad 2.0 which has the least initial friction, avg stopping power. Cerapad has more initial friction but great stopping power. Skypad 3.0 I gave to my wife to use as a cutting board. Skypad 2.0 is still my favorite

2.0 is definitely better than 3.0 in my opinion too, just slightly too small for my liking but it's not a deal breaker. From what I keep hearing though Cerapad is > than Skypad 2.0 even.

I use a degreaser cleaner for my Skypad. I was always under the impression that Windex was kinda bad to use because of the extra stuff that add for shine. Anyways thanks for the great review as always 👍 now to resist the urge to buy another pad I don't need.

Damn i wish this pad was easier accessible in EU. As a jade ranked player im always looking for something new and intresting, Ive invested alot of money and time on different pads/skates/mouse and have yet to find one i truely enjoy. Was tempted to order it but the shipping cost just as much as the pad itself :

I've still got my Poseidon in the box .. I look forward to your review. What would be absolutely fantastic are any tips for firmware and DPI adjustment when you post your video. I'm aware of the convoluted way to update firmware and I'm not really certain if it's actually updated or not. But this style of mouse to my knowledge still has no way to software DPI adjust. It's really pi**ing me off.

Try an artisan hayate otsu mid or LGG venus imo. Hien soft is my #1 pad but its not too similar to glass

skypad 2.0 I bought 2 pads and they are shit. they scratched my mouse feet 24/7 and not even skating smoothly. I didn't get much support, only 50% discount on skypad 3.0 and then it happens also there ! there is no compare to the ICEMAT and STEELSERIES Aluminum pads , they were the best. I am looking for the ceramic mouse pad now . I wonder how they glide now. so the ceramic is only coating ? it won't last long

@@kyrazen The biggest difference is the stopping power! You got speed when you need it! But it slows down very quick when you need to make a flick shot and stop right where you want. It's got more control as well in my opinion! But skypad is a great pad too just depends on what your looking for!

@@Edwardx703 so, i dont play a whole lot during the week with work/school. ill get on and aimtrain for 30-60 minutes. it took me about a week of just that? Im using my SL-phantom with tiger ice atm. i have tried the default feet on the poseidon and they feel nice as well. i just have a bottle of lense cleaner and a microfiber cloth next to my desk for each day. I am using a sleeve as boardzy said though its kind of rough without one.

My favorite combo is an Aluminum core PVC pad with PTFE or glass skates. I play 5400-6000 DPI where I can't afford any bad surface for the sensor to misread. My aluminum PVC pads last forever. I mean like forever and are super easy to clean with Windex and a cloth.

@@thuglife2791 .. I've got decent aim .. on YT I'm Momba CoD, I post just for fun. You can't play at that DPI though with a bad sensor or a bad mouse pad. I play only hardcore everything's one shot in the first to hit wins. Also, 1440p by itself requires a higher DPI. I used to play 800 DPI at 1080p.

When my daughter has her friends trying to play on my PC The last time it was difficult for them even to hit the bus on Nuketown. 🤣 I'll say this when you combine it with a very slippery mouse pad and same with my GPX ultralight. It's a major adjustment over time. The other guy that I play with uses 3400 DPI. We both use the default Call of Duty Mouse multiplier. Although if I was still using 800 DPI I would change that multiplier around to where my mouse was at least 1600 DPI with those adjustments. It adds higher resolution to your aiming.

I will have to say, as someone who has never had a glass pad before, I personally have had no issues with dust on the pad and or scraping. I’ve washed it everyday and even waited a week to test. No problems. Maybe my room is just super dust free? My only complaint is the feel it has out of the box, that control, seems to have diminished by like 20-30% which is a shame. I find myself too inconsistent on it, but it is fun to play with. If it never changed I would still have that confidence.

I used isopropyl alcohol to clean mine and the pad feels horrible only after having for 3 days, but before I did I aimed so well on it. I figure it would wear the same without cleaning it just not as quickly.

cerapad is like the skypad but with more stopping power, plus in my opinion it gets way less affected by debris than my skypad (this is the only point i disagreed with boardzy on)
