She's so incredible with all the knowledge and information that she gives us. I've recently watched a couple of RU-vidrs who aren't trying to sell us stuff talking about the skincare that helped their acne, and they're all incredibly simple. Cleanse with gentle cleanser, use hyaluronic acid and ceramides for hydration and then seal it in with a very simple, fragrance free cream(some of them just used plain Vaseline). As someone with acne prone skin, I can confirm too that all those hyped up products that people claim to do miracles only gave me acne rather than anything else. So times and times people have proven that simple skincare is the best and most effective
I use both of those, as well as the eye cream, the regular hydration lotion and the salicylic acid cleanser occasionally. Now I am giving this new product a try!
I'm in love with Cerave. I buy my 20 year old daughter this stuff too and nag about spf 50 until her ears are red. I have recommended this to my sister too ( like a hundred times) The only answer she is giving me now is - YEAH. HAVEN'T FORGOT FROM THE LAST TIME YOU TOLD ME. 😆 I'm gonna mention it once again later tonight. 😅
Yes its no doubt because of her that many people have been buying their line and they have been doing more advertising cause more people buy their stuff. Never even heard of their products until Dr Dray recommended and no doubt others feel the same. Ive seen so many comments on cerave products on amazon that Dr Dray brought them there. She should definitely be given money for advertising their products.
This product has been SUCH a game changer for me! I have super oily, sticky skin with acne mostly occurring because of these issues. Using this product for over a month and I have zero break outs! This with salicylic acid has completely knocked out my acne and seriously reduced my visible pores. I’m so close to my goal of being able to comfortably go make up free at work. This and my salicylic acid from Paula’s Choice is also less than half what my previous skincare routine cost. Thank you, Dr. Dray!
Hi! I don’t know if you are still using these products since your comment was posted over a year ago. But what order and how frequently did you use both paulas Choice bha and cerave retinol? I’m thinking of using the bha in the morning and retinol at night every day but don’t know if that will be too drying for my skin. Thanks!
I love this product! Has reduced my post acne hyperpigmentation while being so moisturizing. Really brings a glow to the skin and wonderful ingredients.

I’ve been using this for 2 weeks. Once a day (at night). I have seen a great improvement in redness, skin texture and bumps. I do have rosacea. However, I also have dry skin, so instead of using it every night I’ve cut back to every other night. And it helped. Happy with this product. This so far has helped the appearance of my rosacea !!
Amy she has definitely helped me acquire that no makeup looking skin. I’m an older viewer and had wore makeup most of my life. I just wish I had found her so one. I appreciate the time and knowledge she shares with us. I remember being in my 20’s, suffering with ongoing acne and asking my then dermatologist a question relating to what was acerbating my condition and he actually raised his voice and reprimanded me for asking the question. I remember he replied “why do you need to know why?” So glad things have changed....for the better.

Its gentle. Its helped my 18 son, who has very sensitive skin to reduce acne and redness. He has been to a dermatologist and most of the medications that he has been offered have been too hard on his skin. This has been the best thing for him in 2 years of trying different products.

I love the resurfacing serum from cerave. I use almost all cerave products. Been using this for 3 weeks (night only). No irritation at all and i'm new to retinol. I've seen a large improvement in my mild, non-inflammatory and inflammatory acne. Love the fell as well. All around 5/5 from me. Thanks, Dr!
My skin is dull and dry, I used this product and noticed a glow the mornings after using this. Not sure what ingredient in this is working for me because it’s got a lot of good stuff. I’m happy i tried this! Thanks!
I have mature over 60 skin. First time using any retinol products. I have oiily skin with big pores. Minimal wrinkles except around mouth and forehead. I have been using for 2 weeks and no problems. No results yet but softer skin. Starting to get irritation around so eyes, so stopped using there. I may go to derm Dr and get rx retinol. My skin is pretty tough and no acne or problems except large pores.
@@MichaelKellyMusic let's put on strong sunscreen when using retinol. Lot of the sunscreen out there don't have enough filter to help skin with treatment against the sun. You can reference some other brands with good encapsulated retinol like skinmedica, neostrata, asap,...

I recently gave this product a 5 star review on Amazon. It is fantastic. Leaves my skin soft. I have mature oily skin. I use it on my tretinoin off days as my night time moisturizer after peptides serum. It's more a moisturizer than a serum, but a lightweight one. I do think that the extra retinoid helps. I hope they will make it available in Canada, because it doesn't come cheap with the shipping and import fees. I also hope they will never discontinue it... the story of my life when I find a great product.
@@samanthamacdonald6361 I use it on certain body areas prone to little bumps. Still love it, yes. But no longer use it on the face, because on my tretinoin off days, I use a special serum. There are so many days in the week!

@@priyankapereira6953 I think using this with the Ordinary BHA + AHA peel, niacinimide, and azeleic acid has definitely lightened my spots! My whole face used to be covered in purple/red spots and now only a few of the worst scars on my cheeks are left! I can actually leave the house without makeup and feel okay!

@@alicefayxxo hi I have the same skin type: oily acne prone and I’m currently using the ‘Cerave acne foaming cleanser’ and in 2 months it cleared ALMOST ALL my pimples it saved me so much I also use the cerave daily moisturizer at night and I use Garnier sunscreen !!

@@keitigray In her Body Odor Hack video she talks about all the ways to use Panoxyl (with benzoyl peroxide) including reducing body odor. I am post menopausal with some night sweats on occasion.
@@joannmaddalena1084 As I stated in my previous comment, Dr. Dray recommends Panoxyl acne wash, it can be found at Target, Walmart and most drugstores. And as she warns in that video, be careful when using your towel afterwards as it can bleach them. I make a point of not toweling off so my body moisturizer works better when applied to wet skin.
My testimonial: I just started using this last week. I made the mistake of using it everyday for the first 3 days and the purging is real! I’ve reduced it to every 3rd day and this frequency seems to be working much better for me. I still have a few blemishes from the initial purge, but they’re decreasing. For those wondering, I have dry to combination skin (very dry in the winter) that is sensitive to many things. I have not had any irritation with this besides some purging blemishes. Will update in 3 weeks 😊
I have oily skin and issues with closed comedones. I gave this a try and it’s working beautifully! I’ve only been using it for about 2 weeks but I noticed a difference within 1 week of using this product. It’s awesome!

Thanks for reviewing this product. I have used other CeraVe products that are great, but the PILLING makes them impossible to use under makeup. Glad to know this one doesn't. Going to give it a try!
@@nenabunena PILLING. If you rub your face even lightly after the product has dried, it balls up, so trying to apply foundation over it is difficult because you end up with tiny lumps on your face. It did not cause my skin to peel.
There has been some really good manufacturer coupons coming out in the last few Sunday newspapers... $3 and $4 off... can't beat that! So glad I found this channel last spring/summer. I've switched to the basic CeraVe moisturizer about 2 months ago and recently the face wash for normal to oily skin. Definitely saving me money and saving my skin from the irritation I got from other pricey products. Got my mom to switch as well. Great products.

Well, Dr. Dray has talked me into buying yet another product! Last week I watched her video on Kerasal and I ordered it. My feet are improving daily! I trust her opinion very much!
This product works! One week using it and it's healing my sunspots after chemical peel made them worse. Yes it's making my skin a bit dry and irritated but my face is glowing. I'm 50 years old.
@@ABC-fn5iz Don't worry if your skin gets irritated at first & skin starts peeling, my skin eventually got use to it. I've been using it for 5 weeks now and my sunspots are disappearing
Update 1 - Have used this product a couple times so far, trying to start slowly. I have oily, sensitive skin prone to acne and congestion and have suffered from mild rosacea since puberty. First time I used it I used my La Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive Riche moisturizer and let it dry before using the serum. It didn't seem to dry or irritate my skin and no adverse reactions. Skin felt nice and looked a tad glowier next day. Second time I used it, I used serum first then moisturizer and I felt the serum absorbed better. Skin felt slightly dry but no real irritation and to be honest it was quite welcome compared to my usually extremely oily skin. It dried out a few pimples I have and made them smaller. No rosacea flare ups yet thankfully, but hasnt really done anything for the redness yet. Pores already look slightly tighter too. Will update again soon :)

I actually had to stop using this product as I got a fungal acne breakout (from a different product) so I have only been doing a minimal skincare routine for the past few months. Apart from having an ingredient that contributed to my fungal acne, it did not worsen my rosacea or irritate my skin whatsoever. It made my skin look noticeably glowy and slightly decreased any scarring/hyperpigmentation I have, and I feel like any pimples on my face went away quicker. Hope this helps a bit :)

Yeah it’s a bit pricey. I was shocked when I saw their night moisturizer in the smaller tub with a purple label was $13. But, it lasts quite a while and the products is very nice, so it made it worth it. It’s like anything that’s not their basic cleanser and moisturizer has a big price jump

Start now to try to avoid those pesky wrinkles lol.. I started late and I wish I had started earlier.. That being said, I have definitely seen a lot of improvement in my skin since I started retinol
