Fantastic trip to the little village of Cerne Abbas. Lovd that it dates back to the 1500's. The homes and church and pub were amazing to see. Hope you went into the pub and had a bite or an ale. The giant was cool to see. On the train from London to Cornwall, we saw a large chalk horse on a hillside. Enjoyed the trip through the village. Thanks for sharing.

So many people from NZ think UK starts and finishes in London, you can only look at Big Ben and Buck house so many times. The little villages, just outside London are great, only a hour train ride away you are transported back in time. Try Bourne End and Henley on Thames west of London. Only one video a week is not enough, can we get two a week ?
I know!! It crazy really annoys me when people think only about london!!! So many beautiful places!!! Haha I wish I could do more!!! :) just no travel at the moment

Wow, that is a beautiful village indeed! Very nicely done and presented. That giant might not just help fertility, it's also a great exercise getting there as those steps were quite the climb! 😂

Hey lovelies I'm from uk can't believe I haven't been to Dorchester. But I have stayed at the dprcj hire. Love the buildings I also live in a grade two listed cottage.💛
My grandparents retired there and spent many happy years before they passed on. BTW the pronunciation is not “Kerny” but the ‘C’ in Cerne is a ‘S’ and no accent on the ‘e’- the pronunciation should be like “turn” but with a c instead of a t. My grandfather was Church warden there from the mid 1970s until 1985- when I was a small toddler, he would sit me on the church’s organ and let me ‘entertain’ myself by banging notes. My grandfather died in 1986 and never knew that organ playing became my profession- I have an emotional connection to Cerne to this day!!!
Sorry but your comment about the Cerne Giant “it’s not worth it” except for the drone shots is a little bit much- were you expecting him to jump up and dance??!!!!
