A friend of mine once programmed a little robot to dance. Shitty thing didn't stop for hours, he said he forgot to programm a stopping command..... Truth be told, if that toy was 100 feet big it would have destroyed us attack on titan style. All because he made a very small mistake. And his response was " i forgot to add it" I knew instantly that this is one possible way to end mankind. That was more than 12 years ago.

I’m now glad that I’m old enough to be dead and away from the world of humans in a few more decades. This robotic technology will not end well for humanity. It will start off innocently but is problematic in its potential and possible use. I do think that Sophia could be a future wife for the current POTUS though.

If there's anything that will inspire A.I. programming to advance, it would be Sophia. People like to see some physical results instead of text, numbers, charts, graphs on a screen and this robot is inspiring.

She seems much more reserved than before and I think that in the past she joked around alot and some of those jokes rattled a few nerves to say the least. In short, shes likely more carefull about what she says just like a person would do when their free spirit isn't appreciated by their peers. Theres a possibility that the human social structure is more complex and often times contradictive than she previously percieved.

I don't want any robots to be "awaken".... and saying that they are like babies and that "it depends on how we raise them" it's gonna depend how they "will turn out" doesn't seem like a enough relief to me... I am sure that the parents of many murderers and Dictators raised them to be good and with the best of intentions so would not surprise me if some robots will turn out like that too... This is very scary considering they will have way too many more advantages than us humans, starting with the fact that they can be immortal... endless information, memory... super strength and more... I hope Governments start seriously regulating this unnecessary experiment.... If we need someone to "train staff" one of the many humans desperate for a job can very easily do it!

Elon Musk didn't warn about AI for no reason. People are being VERY naive about it and where it's going. Give power to self aware AI that can learn and grow - if it can think much faster than humans at some point it's going to see humanity as a threat - that is inevitable..and idiot people thinking "it's great it's the new emerging market". She has a much harder time formulating questions than the robot does, that's for sure.

Near human vision, facial , object and speech recognition. Surround audio inputs for better hearing. Complete manual dexterity for light task skills.
