Cesar Millan, Behaviorist and “Max” the Movie 

Anne Boleyn Wow, she sounds so stupid about even the basics, and clearly knows nothing about what Cesar even does! His show had been around nearly a decade when this was recorded.

I understand where you're coming from, but he DID say a couple of other things re. that. One, he recommended this for people that are first time dog owners and or know nothing about dogs. He said if you feel you're good with dogs or have experience with dogs then you can pick the high energy or low energy ones. He also doesn't want dogs to be returned to the shelter. He said 60 percent of dogs get returned and it's more likely that you'll have a successful adoption (esp. a new dog owner) if you go with the medium energy dog, one who's engaged and interested in you but also will respect you and be open to discipline from you.
