sir,i know that you are an experienced pilot, and the flight was vfr, but why you dont check the stand by artificial horizon in the copilot side??

Great vid, James. I'm impressed that you used your checklist for all phases. Too many pilots just zip over the panel from memory or just use GUMP. This is a great "time builder" job you have.

Hi Brenda - flying above or below the clouds can be attributed to a number of factors including winds (headwind vs. tailwind), turbulence, flight rules (visual vs. instrument), fuel considerations, and altitude limitations to name a few. Before each flight, pilots carefully select an altitude that best accommodates each of these factors.
