I have been thoroughly enjoying flying this aircraft in the MS flight simulator with such crazy realism. Its great to see the real thing in this video especially the cockpit.
There's a lock-out relay that is linked to the squat switches in the main gear. The plane has to have weight on the wheels before the TR hydraulic valves can be energized.
Trolling all those academics who constantly talk about their academic citations in this or that journal, by renting this jet. The Citation Latitude, for the 1 academic citation I have.
True, but even in the X, people are usually not going to be going flat-out in these. Too much of a cut into your range because of the higher fuel burn. Hell, there was an unofficial race between an X and a Sovereign+ from Las Vegas to Wichita after an NBAA conference. The Sovereign+ actually *beat* the X home by three minutes because it didn't need to step climb, while the X did.
@@patricksawyer9779 I know. LRC in the 747 was M0.84 but I had it up to M0.90 a few times to make a crossing restriction but as you say you wouldn't want to fly like that for very long. Thanks for the reply.
