Hello Sir I love the Way you educated us about CFA, thanks for all your kind efforts. I am Sourabh, presently working in a Public Sector bank as a Senior Clerk. I will be greayful if You could please spare some time and Guide me in deciding my next carrier move. Currently i am working as a Clerk, with CTC package of 8 Lpa. This time I had appeared for my Promotion exams , If I opt for that I will be Posted as an Scale 1 Bank Office with CTC around 10- 12 LPA. Not a huge difference though. But I will have to sacrifice on my study time. My inner calling is to pursue CFA. And I am unaware about the benefits I can get after clearly (L3) CFA Charter. Please Guide whether I sould remain in Clerical Cadre and along with my job, start preparing for CFA. Or should I become a Bank Officer. Which one will be a Worthful decision to take....? Please guide and share your take on my case.
CFA+CPA or CFA+CMA is good combination where in it can help you in securing a good corporate finance job in the field of corporate development, Strategic Investment, Treasury, FX roles with the help of CFA. But CPA/CMA alone will have glass ceiling in most cases to get into such fields. The country which has lot of scope is Canada,Singapore,Middle East,Malaysia,United Kingdom.
Heyy please tell is there any benefit on combining cfa with any accounting courses such as acca ,cma or one must go directly for cfa if he is intrested in finance??
There is lot of benefit my friend. As Finance industry is so niche and very few people to get into such jobs. But having a professional accounting course will help you to get into valuation, fdd profile at a big 4 or top firms which eventually lead you to Core finance jobs Like Investment banking, Private equity.
I want to do CFA level 1 right now and then do MBA for 2 years. And then after MBA can I continue with level 2 or I have to appear for level 1 again???

If you're in India, CA is enough. A good number of companies only take CFAs in investment banking role on a standalone basis. But in many top Indian as well as global firm they require CA/MBA from reputed College. So focus on CA, later if you have interest then you can later pursue CFA.

Absolutely yes you can go after CA, if you wish to stay towards the tax and audit side then CA, is good for investment banking side, CFA will definitely give you an amazing edge

in the eligibility requirement it just says " Complete a bachelor's program or equivalent program and have received a degree from the college/university. If you are not sure if your program is comparable, consult your college or university."
Hello Firstly this video pops up at the exact moment required. I had a doubt regarding what exactly does a Charter degree in CFA add to growth. Like is is okay to complete CFA all the 3 levels and not apply for a charter. Please do reply. Thank you so much.
@@majidareef3555 Yes I agree. But that turns out to be a very hunting process. As from the very start I have to look for a finance role and it is a bit difficult. Though I am a Chartered Accountant but fetching a finance front end role is difficult.
@@muskanagarwal408 Fetching a front end role is difficult not only for CA. It's difficult for every finance professional including mba from Tier 1 college. So as you're a Chartered accountant You have a great edge, make sure work on transaction advisory, Valuation, equity research, project finance, etc. Get into such profile, as these profile is not that tough to break. As well as In general, most of the boutique and good investment banks are owned by CAs. Network with them and get the opportunities.
