Both this bike and my Royal Enfield do NOT have self canceling blinkers. The Spyder has me spoiled. I don't how many times I've ridden the Royal Enfield for miles with one of the blinkers on, because I can't see it, and the tiny little green flashing light in my speedo clock doesn't get my attention. This bike I can see it on while riding, and yep, they're bright.

I just learned why that happens and also learned about the trick that a clear visor pulled down when wearing polarized sunglasses nullifies the disappearing LCD screen, and it works !!

Hand guards are aftermarket, from China. This bike is named "650 Adventura" only in North America, and is no longer available in the 2024 lineup. So accessories (OEM and after market) are slim pickin's here in the U.S. This bike is called the "650MT" around the rest of the world, and there is an endless availability of aftermarket accessories on AliExpress (China version of Amazon or eBay without the "bidding"). I ordered these hand guards and also the engine guard (crash bars) on AliExpress, and both arrived in under 2 weeks. I was a little nervous about using AliExpress, but with 2 purchases so far, I'm quite happy to use AliExpress (again, so far). I like what I learned about AliExpress, I pay using PayPal, and then you have to acknowledge when your order arrives, because AliExpress withholds payment to the seller, until you've confirmed you received the goods. I started watching Riders (on & off) with Cameras taped to their Helmets back in 2009. I opened my Channel in 2013, but it wasn't about Riding it was just stupid little clips of me. I decided I wanted a Strictly Motorcycle channel in 2015, & posted me riding, but it was low quality. I deleted everything I started fresh. I think my current oldest video is either 2015 or 2016. I feel I am an OG MotoChannel, I know all the older MotoChannels off by heart.

Most of Feb here was unbelievably mild springlike weather, very unusual, and yesterday was 70F. Next couple weeks, 40s and 50s, so I'm not complaining. Looking forward to seeing you out riding your Wing... and with the Mini Mate, Jim 😁👍

I know, I bought this thing in the winter (Dec 30th) and I've made an appointment for its 1st service on Mar 4th. So, this is the first time I've bought a motorcycle in the winter and completed the break-in period before spring 🤔🙄😁👍👍

I use the DJI Wireless Mic. I clip the transmitter (which is very small) to the arm of my boom mic inside my helmet, and the receiver is attached to either my Insta360 X3 camera, or my DJI Osmo Action 3 camera. The setup of the transmitter inside my helmet is shown in my video called: "DJI Mic - Part 1 of 2 - Motovlog Audio Test with Insta360 X3" (about 5 months ago). And, for the walk around review in this video, the transmitter is clipped near the top of my chest on my hoodie, you can just barely see the little dead cat that clips on to the transmitter, and I keep that dead cat on the transmitter when it's inside my helmet.

Uhh, well I believe he's got me beat by a touchdown and a field goal 🤔🙄😆

@DFWMoose They're a chinese company, and I believe their strategy is to compete at the table of the Big 4 Japanese manufacturers in the sub 1000cc bike segments. They're young, but they're building quite a reputation, and they blow away the competition on pricing. It'll be interesting to see how well (or not) they do over the next decade.

@DFWMoose Yes and no. Around the world, it's called the 650MT, which is still in production. In USA and Canada, it's called the 650 Adventura, which is gone from their 2024 line-up, but they have kept the 650 NK in North America (same engine, but NK is their "naked" bike version).

It was maybe a 40 min ride... but I procrastinated and didn't start the ride until late in the day 😏🙄😁

I purchased this bike new only 3 months ago, and as of today, it's got about 1,100 miles on it. So the seat is still in brand new condition. I really can't see that happening. The seat material looks and feels really good, and I haven't seen any complaints about that issue in my research and reviews of the Adventura, or the 650MT version from overseas. But I suppose only time will tell if your concern becomes an issue. For me, I don't think that will be a problem 😁👍.

ALIEXPRESS, it's China's version of Amazon. They have lots of accessories for for the ADVentura, but in Europe snd Asia, it's NOT called a CFMoto 650 ADVentura. It's called CFMoto 650MT I bought the handguards and crash bars on ALIEXPRESS. Took about 10 to 12 days to receive. You gotta be careful not to choose a vendor that shows a ridiculous shipping cost. Many vendors' shipping costs are reasonable. Some are just plain outragious. Every item I looked at shows the shipping cost in the description. I paid $41, including shipping and tax for handguards, and I paid $370, including shipping and tax for the crash bars (U..S. dollars). The heated handgrip wraps, I bought on Amazon for $33 U.S. The top case and luggage rack I ordered from CFMoto USA through my dealer. Total for both was $297 U.S.

Yes, I've filled up 3 times after completing the 600-mile break-in period, achieving 48 mpg to 51 mpg, so it has improved by about 10 %. 😁👍

There's very few accessories for the Adventura in the U.S. But in China & Europe, the bike is called CFMOTO 650MT, and on AliExpress, you can find all kinds of accessories for the 650MT. AliExpress is China's version of Amazon, you just have watch out and avoid vendors that have huge shipping costs. Total cost I paid was $41 and I received them in about 10 days, from China. $34 for the handguards $4 shipping and then sales tax. Yes, they chg sales tax, because AliExpress has setup businesss in the U.S., so they charge sales tax just like Amazon does. I paid using PayPal. I also bought engine crash bars/guards from AliExpress. If you enter the following in Google, you'll see an AliExpress link to where I bought my handguards. It took a lot of local rides for me to get to 600 miles. I just got the 1st service done on Monday, this past week, so now it's fully broken in, and ready to go when the weather gets warmer. I bought mine 10 weeks ago, on Dec 30th, but I got lucky with the mild winter, and rode it every chance I could, to get it through the 600 mile break-in. It kinda sucked keeping it under 4000 RPM for those first 300 miles, because it's gutless at low RPM's, it's way more fun at 5000 to 8000 RPM's 😁

You know how helmets, gloves, and shoes are more comfortable after you've broken them in? Same thing for people getting to know each other, and the same goes for an engine. The new parts and new metals are stiffer and have more friction when new. So, you take it easy, let all those moving parts get to know each other, and get comfortable with each other, and they settle in and fit and move together more smoothly after the break-in period. Kinda like the first few dates, vs. being married, haha. New engines prefer low stress and low rev's (RPM's) until all the moving parts are best friends that play well with each other 😊🙂😁🤗

The back case is a Shad 39 (39 liters). I bought it from CFMoto through the dealer. It's a nice top case, matches the side cases that came on the bike.

On my 2022 Adventura, there is no seat height adjustment. It's a tall bike, I'm 5'11" with a 32" inseam, and I can not flatfoot my feet. Both feet touch the ground, but not my heels.
