This episode we finally get our hands on the CFmoto ADVentura. I can't talk enough good things about this motorcycle. We hope you enjoy this review as much as we did making it!
There is a small steel part on the trottle body,if you bend it or take it off then the trottle can open full, you can reach it after taking off the right long black plastic part
Fellow Best Virginian here, was looking into the CF Motos and gotta say, after watching some of your videos you've sold me on 'em. Gonna check some out this weekend!
I do miss the instant power the 700s have. I just really like the comfort that this bike provides. I wish I would have picked up the 800 ibex but my dealer didn't have any. With my luck though they got them in the next day after I bought this bike. :(
I have the same ride & love it so far. I too have the GPS go to inches once in a while. Hopefully it's just something in the app that will be updated and fixed soon.
Have you worked out why the turn by turn is in inches? Have you resolved the problem, has it happened since? Just now Im torn between this and the RE Shotgun, yes it has more features but reliabily concerns me 🤔
Hello fellow cfmoto users, may I know is the Sport mode consume more fuel and generate more heat? I can't tell the difference when I'm using the mode 😅
This is the MT650, I don't know why it's rebranded ADVentura. It's certainly not a motorbike for ADV, and you should keep it on cemented road. But I had one I sold at 24'000km for a tracer 9 GT. Overall I am very satisfied by it. Basically, it is powerful enough, comfortable, well protected, the build quality is really decent and for the price it's a bargain. I got a very few problems with it: - Horn wasn't working anymore - Rear-wheel dampers got compressed after ~12000km leading to very unpleasant experience in curvy roads on each curve-exit. Those are cheap rubber part and changing it was very cheap. - Somehow there is a problem in the software causing the bike to malfunction usually if rode around 2200rpm in 5th gear. It lose power, feel like it's running on one cylinder only. Stopping and restarting the bike make it goes away. Experienced like 10 times over the course of my ownerhood :) That's all, and it's pretty little for 24'000km. Now I'm riding a Tracer 9 GT, and it's another world, but another budget too.
I have this model and he is correct . The bike runs very well on the highway and has a great suspension system but the parts will run you your pockets dry lol so beware. Also, be careful of second gear it’s extremely jumpy and I busted my ass popping a wheelie 5 days before my wedding 😂
I've seen some comments that the speedometer on this bike is a bit off by about 7-10%, so when you are doing 80 you are actually doing around 75 more or less. Is that right? I love how this bike looks and for the price it seems like you get a lot for it.
I love this bike so much that I went out and bought 300NK. for everything you get at the price you pay you cant beat this brand. Plus I got my 2022 Adventura on sale for 5800.00.
so.... any problems with the bike? has it broken down ever? i live here in Finland and CFMoto is a new thing here so i cant get any local user experiences on the bike.... i would like to hear all the bad things about it, since internet only posts the good things about it
That pretty much has a ninja 650 engine in it if I am correct? I had a ninja 650 and was pleased with it, but started to get bored with it after a couple years. It needed just 10 more ponnies to keep me interested. I just picked up the Cfmoto IBEX 800T. MAN what a bike! Very pleased with it so far. It has a KTM 790 engine in it. The motor is so much fun. And the bike is LOADED with SO many features! Happy riding and good video.
So to me there is a big difference in "power". Really its torque. This bike doesn't have the giddy up and go like the 700s. However as soon as you get past 4,000rpm this bike really opens up.
The adventura and the NK have a MASSIVE catalytic muffler on them. I've fiddled with some Ebay pipe and muffler configs and gained a lot of responsiveness in the mid range for it. Be careful of the "off road only" nature of the cheap ebay mufflers. They're truly too loud.
The saga continues with the quality of the bike. It has been 21 days since I bought the bike. The electronics were attached with double sided tape. The only miles on the bike are riding home and then back to the dealership. The dealership has ordered parts twice and they arrived yesterday and they are wrong. They are ordering again but do not know what to expect. I called CF Moto in Minnesota and the rep on the phone said this is the dealership problem and that they would contact the dealer. She pretty much hung up on me because they do not take care of the customer it is a dealer problem
To each his own my friend. I really enjoy both my Harley and this bike there are few bad things to say about both. Harley has come a long way since 03 though.
I can't tell a big difference in the modes during highway riding however I can def tell a difference going up a twisty mountain or hitting some real curvy backroads.
