Maybe seeing it as a game would be a great mindshift for me. I loved gaming and I am really competitive. Just taking a top down approach “it’s okay it’s just the nervous system” or “you are safe” has never worked for me (even before cfs) always had to calm the mind with the body, but oh try that with a body thats goign haywire😂 thanks for making the game analogy

I have since months flare up from bathroom with symptoms i am not fearing ,after 1 hour they are away that never made me stronger.instead i had weeks where i made progress and then always crashing in capacity. And only in that. And i am crashing from one day to another after doibg something u am doing for months. If the ebergy is away from one day to the next without me spiraling then ir is a crash. My flare ups through the days i never feared but tgey are still there after 6 months doing the same .

I always recommend going through the questionnaire and if you qualify, booking a strategy call to see if you're a good fit for the program! www.cfsrecovery.co/apply

Interessting everyone is talking about symptoms and symptoms snowball etc. What about capacity drop. I am having only some little symptoms but often capacity drop. That is a crash for me because not the heart palpitation keeps me in bed it is the Lack of energy that is a huge difference. I can have 5% of symptoms but making no progress because body takes away the energy that is the main Problem not the flare ups with dizziness or buzzing. And if your only capacity is going to tge washroom 3 times pet day then how pull back when the caspacity drops?obviously i cannot go not only one 1 time to the bathroom.

Hello Miguel, Wanted to know if Graves Disease or Hashimotos Disease fits in the category of a Hypersensitive Nervous System? Thank you.😊

I know I'm not Miguel, lol, but I've done a lot of study into this topic specifically, so I thought I might be able to provide some insight. As far as I can tell, it can be a symptom of a hypersensitive nervous system and is usually related, but it can also exist on its own. It in itself isn't CFS or hypersensitive nervous system, it more falls under the umbrella of those things as a symptom and one of the ways the body is expressing stress/fatigue/overload. One of the few symptoms that can actually show up on a test, which often results in it being put in its own category/diagnosis (sometimes appropriately, but more often mistakenly). And there are those people for whom this is the entire problem and treating it directly is the solution and will relieve it. But for most of us, in which it's a symptom of chronically stressed nervous system, treating it alone may provide some short term relief, which is always helpful, but everything else will still be there and it will be clear there is more going on and this is not the root problem. Basically if treating it directly doesn't work/solve it, then it's a hypersensitive nervous system issue/CFS. I hope that makes sense and maybe gives some clarity, if not a definitive answer. As with anything, it's very individual and you know your body best, so the best thing is to take the information you've gathered and feel out what fits/resonates for you and your personal experience.

While both Graves' disease and Hashimoto's disease involve complex interactions between the immune system and the endocrine system, they are not typically considered disorders of a hypersensitive nervous system.

Yes, you can do still do this but to be honest it’s not my place to say because I don’t understand your exact situation and legally I can’t recommend you anything. I can only share what I’ve experienced. I would advise to reach out and discuss this with your doctor! Hope you understand.
