Have you gotten around to making the second part of this tutorial? I don't see it on the RU-vid page. I'm looking for some direction on how to integrate the deposit and flow materials.
In the works still! Sorry for the delay, been swamped with client work. Best practice is to use the flow maps and deposit maps as masks and data drivers, in C4D for example you can have a deposit map drive the location of small rocks. All you need is a cloner / matrix object + shader effector.
They are an artifact that sometimes occurs with the new Lambertian Spheres shading model, the more subdivisions you have the less they will occur. Alternatively you can use the Standard Oren-Nayar diffuse model but I much prefer the look of the Lambertian Spheres. This may be something that the Redshift development team could address in the future.
