Please subscribe and let's learn something together.
Thank you sooooo much! Why does everything have to be such a nightmare to find in UE? Are they just making it more complicate because they can't think straight forward like normal 3D CAD persons. I come from SketchUP and 3D max Lumion and try to get away from paying platforms. The learning curve is just ridiculous. The loading takes forever and each time one needs to load a plugin its back to the REstart. I can't find the gyzmo, I lost my model in space, I cant get it back to the screen. Nothing is normal English it's like one has to learn the Shakespeare of 3D. I have a 4K monitor and I set the UI to 1.8 I pray this will stay that way. Why can't they have a "save setting" button? I am in 5.4 and most video tutorials are one year or more older. One guy said Windows Developer etc (which doesn't exist in 5.4 at all!) For this YOU are an EYE savior! Thank you.
What a ridiculously overcomplicated process just to get UV maps out of C4D. Maxon get your shit together. I'm coming from MAX and Blender and this is just a one click thing. 'Export UV layout' bamm, you've got it
It doesn't allow to input number string on macbook's keyboard. I had to emulate numpad, then export the keyboard configuration file and change "NUMPAD_1" to 'ONE' and then import that into blender and turn off numpad emulation again. This is so messed up, why Blender is like that?
Hi, i came here to learn some tricks for C4D, i use blender/ Graphic Tablet and for navigation i use: Alt ---- Rotate the view Alt Ctrl ------ Zoom in/out Alt Shift ----- Pan Alt win ------- frame selection They are the best hotkeys for me because i have always my fingers naturally on Alt/Ctrl/ shift/win Thanks for the video
Does anyone know how to get the displacement to go outside of the bounds of the volume? The documentation has an example of it working but I can't figure out how to do it. Also I'm having an issue where it feels like the noise for displacement is also acting as a multiplier on the density. So the density increases as the displacement increases, which is really impractical. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
I have a project in c4d and I want the texture exported out. How can this be done? Is there a way to export the png in the color tab? Then I can make my own materials in the other software I was going to use? Another way is the embed the textures right into the fbx, but I tried this and still didn’t work. If this worked then all I would need to do is bring in the fbx with embedded textures and it would be sync in my other software
as a mosue user i never think that Cinema 4D or even blender have this little features! since i always broke all my miffle mouse key using alt middle a lot
This is helpful. Is there a way to have this happen all the time as a default startup? Presently it seem like I have to do this for reach new UE project.
Probably not! haha. They still don't have particle support and I'm VERY disappointed they ended up making their own node system and should have adopted Cinema's newer built in nodes.
Stil there is so much room for improvements, Cycles in Blender seems to be 3X times faster. I don't understand why they don't make thing polished first then start focus on new features.
Brilliant. It would be great if one could adjust the threshold/sensitivity by how large the exploded segments should be. Still, what's the main benefit of this trick compared to Poly Islands to Object?
