Chael did admit to the Armstrong comment twice since the interview. It can be found. The man is one interesting character. I love the guy and think he is good for the sport, we need his kind to make it fun out of the octagon, as well as backing up the hoopla. Chael is going to beat Anderson Silva and be the champion, and might take another weight class title in the future. He is the most improved, dominate fighters in the world. Hate it, it's true.
i understand why sonnen has some haters, but in a way he is my hero. look at everyone laughing at him when he says he going to beat silva. He was a huge underdog in that fight. yet he went out there and won 4 1/2 half rounds and landed more strikes on silva than silva's last 12 oppenents COMBINED. He showed me that you got to believe in yourself even when no one else does.

@T1memaster Chael supposedly has low testosterone (Hypogonadism) but for the Silva fight, he injected enough anabolic steroids to have a T/E ratio (16.9:1) over 4 times the allowed limit (4:1) and almost 17 times a normal male (1:1).
@brandonhansentx His levels were higher than the limit considered possible for a human male without testosterone supliments. He was higher than the healthiest, strongest young man could be. He has stated publically that he was taking hormone suplements before the fight. His defence is that he had a medical problem, but no reputable doctor would ever perscribe and administer hormone suplements that exceed prescribed limits. Besides, it his obligation to monitor and control those limits.
Chael says "I'm the tougher guy" well it looks like Silva was the tougher guy because the main thing I remember from that fight is sonnen tapping. Nice run Sonnen...
After the fight Sonnen had his face destroyed and Silva was as clean as he come to the octagon in the first round. Even though Sonnen dominated and scored point during 4 rounds, he couldn't make a scracth in Silva. The punches Silva landed from the guard were more damaging then any of Sonnen's strikes. Silva wanted to win via jiu jitsu, as he had declared befored the fight. He took that long because Chael is difficult to submit, but he did it anyway, as he said he would.
On a final note I go back tho the fact that Silva has defeated most of the fighters who have beaten Chael Sonnen, that point alone reduces Sonnen's claims to ridicule. Yep he did take the fight to Silva and fought very well but how many times was Silva close to being Subbed or KOd?. Anderson Silva is an opportunist, that is the very nature of Jiu Jitsu and he lured Sonnen right into that triangle no doubt about it. I dunno, maybe Sonnen got Silva's resume confused with his own lol
I don´t know what you saw in that fight, but even under the effect of illegal "performance enhanding" substances, Sonnen was submitted by an rib-injury diminished Silva. And judging by their respective faces after the fight, it looks to me that Sonnen took a greater beeting, despite de fact that Silva spent most of the time on his back (unless Sonnen face is considerably more prone to swelling and bruises than Silva´s.

He even bullshits the UFC's middleweight division when he talks about the level of competition that Silva has faced, now take a look at the organisations that Sonnen has fought for before and inbetween unsuccesful spells in the UFC, I honestly think the guy is clinically insane as he has promotion hopped continuously, possibly because he has never been able to put together more than a 5 bout win streak (Silva 13 to date).
Well yeah. That's why he had to get a TRT exemption. He knows the only way he has a chance of beating Anderson is to give himself the same unnatural edge he had in the first fight. If Chael fought Anderson the way he did against Stann and Bisping, I think we'd see the first decapitation by headkick or triangle choke in the UFC.

@Chrisbrown762 No he didnt , he only told them after he got caught. His exact reason for being suspended was non disclosure of his medical history and what he was taking for it till after he was caught. regardless elevated test can be out the system quite fast so he was that stuff right up to fight night which is just plain wrong. Most people who use roids for what ever reason use them sparingly and during times of not fighting. he was just too cocky, that was his undoing.

@DonStirFrye Not sure if you know this, but there is a steroid test which is seperate test. Chael has never failed that test. Yes he failed the testosterone test, he certainly didnt calculate right. Deca, Test, Suspension etc are much more potent than what TRT patients take, these guys are always on TRT, all year round.

@DonStirFrye Chael had an exemption too, actually he's been doing it longer than most fighters and NSAC knew about it, Chaels mistake was to think CSAC knew as well. He foresure made a big mistake and his levels were too high, kind of like Nate. Everyone says Henderson does TRT. Please let me know where this info is cause Ive never read it. Although I dont doubt he does. You telling someone else is ignorant is fine but your comment has holes too.
@travisvennable I absolutely agree that Silva was very disrespectful to Damien and totally uncalled for! Anderson Silva is a humble guy but he is a fighter! He's not in the business to be humble, respectful, and nice, the same goes for Chael! The thing is, is Chael disrespects whole weight divisions and even countries. Look at how he dissed Lance Armstrong, Machida, GSP, etc... He is nonstop! It's completely different when you bash one person rather than a whole fucking country!
I hated Sonnen before, during, and after the Silva fight but in the last couple days I now think Sonnen was right about Anderson Silva. Silva is the man but he is not who the UFC says he is
