Chael Sonnen discusses his training background, talks about his animosity towards UFC legend Anderson "The Spider" Silva, and explains why he's looking forward to playing UFC Undisputed 3.
"wrestlers do well in mma cause wrestlers are tough" so true. although a lot of wrestling moves are very effective and flashy in the amateur league. the pros however, not so much.
Chael is a brilliant man , when you actually see him on fights he never puts his opponents on true danger nor does he disrespects them.. sure he says crazy shit , but takes the time to entertain the media, us.
Yeah he had a fight in 97... then had a break. You know why? Because he was competing in NCAA national championships and being an alternate in the freaking Olympics. Sounds a hell of a lot like a fighter to me
Yep, maybe he didnt fight more than once in 90s because he was "trying to become a complete fighter" but he couldnt prepare well, Idk. Or maybe it's just talking, I just heard Chael on Fox calling Fedor "the great" when talking about Antonio Silva, while in 2010 he was calling him "a bum". How can you not love that guy? :)
do you realise his testosterone levels were only 0.1 higher then the accepted amount, which is 0.6, so if he would juice he would've been way higher, like alistair overeem has..
@XConYoungBlood Dude, take a chill pill. The guy's an entertainer. You call him racist just because he happens to be white. And me a closeted white racist? Hahaha Please, anyone who is racist in the USA needs a serious wake-up call.
You know... I do think he is a good fighter and all... But he has no true merit due his deeds. Plus... I really don't think he's gonna win, just cuz he lost once when Anderson was injured. Whatever. I'm a soccer fan. I just think UFC is nice to see sometimes. The point is... Winning or not, this guy is just a doped idiotic ridiculous jackass.
If you think he's brilliant, I must say you are probably as brilliant as he is. Congratulations. This guy can't win a fight even when he's doped and wants to shit talk about the adversaries. Also, he does disrespect not only the Brazilian fighters as he also does the same to the Brazilian People or Culture. Dude, as an American, I'd be ashamed to have this guy as the people's champion, unless all the people of the USA could be SO idiotic... And I have american friends who are not.
