@Ben O sullivan i don't think the irish are any wittier than anyone else, its just the accent makes everything sound funnier, say conors lines in an American accent and it sounds stupid
Conor is goat for pre fight build up, press conferences, things like that. But Chael is the all around goat, he’s always got perfect one liners for any occasion
@@msquared9605 Yeah I agree, Chael is good in those press conferences too but not quite to Conors level of developing hype. I think Chael is definitely funnier though and kills interviews like nobody else.
@@tonydavis5032 Chael is way better. Conor is a great talker, *and* wins championship fights- that's what sets him apart. But in terms of pure talk- chael is funnier, more witty, more clever and on top of that he doesnt have to use profanity. I agree with the OP. In terms of promos Chael>Conor>>>>>>>>>>>Colby
@@conversationstranglersteve9873 nah chael was never able to create legendary moments like conor did. Conor's trash talking would literally changed people's careers.
@@erickhouston2967What do you mean by legendary though? Okay let's put it this way. Conor's trash talk was much more palatable when he was winning. How many people turned on him when he tried the sht on Khabib who whooped his ass. His style of aggressively taunting never changed. But people got turned off. Chael was always on the losing end with most of his rivals, but people still loved him. He is way more witty than Conor. End of story.
Le Batard: "How many more fights can you keep losing and still remain this popular?" Chael: "How long are you gonna keep holding a pen and not write anything down?" lmfao
There's no way he was expecting to be shit on and embarrassed. He kept bringing him on because they were probably his highest rated segments. I will say though, cheers to him for swallowing his pride
Holy shit. New MMA fan here, just started watching Chael for the analysis, never actually watched him turn the Heel on when he was a fighter. This is fucking amazing
Dan: You seem to go after the black guy. Whether it’s Anderson Silva or Jon Jones... Chael: Didn’t you start off the interview saying how nice we were to Jon Jones? Dan: Yes but I think your changed your game plan. Dude backpedaled the shit out of that statement.
Chael will always be the daggum king of the UFC! He’s one of the funniest human beings on the planet. Period. It’s even better that most of these idiots don’t even realize how hard he’s trolling them. And he’s an extremely talented fighter. Absolutely love this guy! I’d grab a beer with him any day.
His podcast is gold 👍 one of the best commentators in the buisness. I wish he didnt have a fallout with the UFC, maybe we would have been hearing him fight commenting
Guys he's been on his radio show in recent past talking about these things exactly trying to get your exact reactions that you're giving now. They are not best friends but this is entertainment and television. These guys are their exaggerated selves for the sole purpose of entertainment. I love them both. They're great. They are cool or at the very least indifferent to each other. If it benefits them both they will most definitely play their parts again. I hoped I've explained this well enough. Good day sirs
My grandma lives in West Linn.. it's a tough place let me tell you, big Mormon church right across the street, buncha big houses with picket fences and backyards.. it's scary, I don't know how she does it
“The 3rd interview on the least watched show in sports television” “I literally can never say the same, but you are welcome” chael is a fucking menace 🤣
West Linn is in the top 100 Best Cities to live in America, and was also named the most family friendly city in Oregon. Just thought I’d put that out there edit: also the 36th safest city in the nation
I go to West linn all the time and it’s so nice lmao nice buildings with nice houses everywhere, it’s right by the river and everything so I died laughing when he said that 😂😂
God I miss him. Him being gone is one of the many reasons I don't keep up with pro MMA as much these days. He may have lost to Anderson in the most unforgivable, suspicious way, but he's a God behind the mic
St Louis, Detroit, Memphis, West Linn, Chael is a solider and made it out of a place that claims so many young men on a daily basis. It’s where he got his toughness from.
