Chael being a true gentleman. He didn't want to fracture the guy's psyche by describing the traumatic experience of witnessing a brutally savage litterer in his home town.
Butttaa dummmm dumm.. be careful whatcha wish for.. cause ya just might get it - eminem lyrics I realize you made this comment 4 years ago.. and that was a differnt time and place, but right about now i just want some lame black dude with kids running shit😂
Colby Covington walked out to Kurt Angles theme music and trolled the audience so hard they spontaneously chanted “U Suck!” He trolled his way into an organic face-turn. Trollby Covington is the greatest. 🇺🇸
I too survived the mean streets of West Linn Oregon. I remember a particularly traumatic experience once where I ordered a Caramel Machiatto at the Starbucks drive thru, and didn't realized I'd been bum rushed until I got on the road and took a sip of what turned out to be a half-caf Vanilla whipped Latte. Like THE MAN said, you always gotta be looking over your shoulder, only the strong survive.
West Linn? Guys, I survived the chaos of the streets of Happy Valley, which is about 15 mins away from West Linn. The weaker criminals get weeded out of happy valley and they head to west linn
Like him or not, Chael Sonnen is one of the best and brightest fighters who understands the business, takes it seriously, absolutely knows exactly how to build heat through humor and wit and he is one of the most colorful fighters to come along in quite some time.
snarlingrabiddog5150 even in terms of fighting Chael is a good fighter. People just like to hate on him but he is definitely a calculated fighter. All these average joes act like he isn't a good fighter but have no idea how hard he trains. He proved he was a good fighter when he went against Silva, he was pretty relentless in that fight. So many people say hold Silva in high regard, he is a amazing fighter, but I actually think someone like Uriah Hall is a more devastating striker than Silva was.
Simon Keel A lot of people like to hate him. Chael's success on the mic work is calculated with that factor in mind :) There are absolutely better fighters out there, but not one has come along that can draw people in like Chael with just his mouth, before ever throwing a punch. Those he pisses off should thank him for him drawing them deeper into UFC action, fighters included. The guy is very smart.
Chael Sonnen’s spinning back fist knocked out Anderson Silva in the 2nd fight. it was so powerful it created an alternate timeline in which Anderson Silva won and that is the reality we have been forced to live in.
I met Chael briefly in Cali and exchanged a few words, and out of his hilarious character, Chael is one of the kindest and most sincere people on the planet. Really intelligent, funny and overall nice dude. I was a bit nervous and felt bad because I know it's probably annoying being approached by fans all the time, but he was super happy to talk to a fan and just really damn easy to talk to. I wish I wasn't so paranoid about being an "annoying fan" because he had no urgency in the slightest to leave, but meh, it was a cool moment. I'm PISSED that I didn't ask for a picture because I'm sure he'd gladly have taken one. The guy is seriously funny as hell even when he isn't trying to be. When I met him he actually said "fuckin" casually in conversation and it was weird to hear because I've never once heard him swear before on his podcast or any interview hahah, but it was great. It was also strange to hear him talk "normally," his *real* social presence is a lot less cocky and he laughs A LOT in person. Fuckin' stupidly long comment sorry, but it was just a cool experience and it was awesome to confirm my presuppositions of him in person. Great guy and I'm excited to see his career as a comedian and analyst blow up in the coming years.
Nope, the interviewer was great and funny, Chael was being very difficult and giving them a hard time but he was just putting an act which makes the interview very funny indeed

I think seeing him on the Ultinate Fighter coaching opposite Jon Jones made me see a whole different side of him. He seemed like a sincere and genuine bloke.
It's funny to go back and watch this in 2019. A) Chael looks so young! He was 34 at the time. B) It's interesting to see the 'performer' side of Chael that was still on display back then. He's a lot more real these days.
Robert Garcia I really don’t see how I’m the one that’s offended, you’re the one losing your shit over youtube comments that literally have no effect on anyone, i suggest you put the phone down, take a deep breath and really think this through.
Robert Garcia stfu and get over yourself, edgelord. Nobody gives a fuck if you want to act like a hardass in the RU-vid comments. You must be fun at parties.
Damn, I used to hate Chael Sonnen due to me being an Anderson Silva fan, but this interview made me realize how cool Chael is when he's not in promo mode. PS: If my grammar and or punctuation/spelling is wrong ,lmk please.
This is gold, got a chance to meet chael in Hawaii recently at the Bellator event. Dude was super friendly and was always smiling. Glad I got to meet the biggest gangster from west link Oregon.
@@Drizzle8481 ikr lmao... besides Dan Le Batard is highly respected in the ESPN community. Chael is only a good trash talker. Some decent fights but far from a great fighter
This was so great. The part about repeating questions is completely accurate. All they do is reword the same questions trying to get the answer they were looking for instead of the honest answer they got in the first place.
