I would love for that to be the case. If death ends up being a psycho who is just another evil devil then it’d be a little boring but I’d still like it. Another darkness devil type situation would be cool too

I think the death devil in chainsaw man's world is surely a demon that keeps the balance. Who kills enough humans, but not too many, and I think the reason death is coming to the real world is to restore order... The reason why death will come is surely because public safety will succeed in making the chainsaw man eat the aging devil, so he'll have to show himself. I find the theory of chainsaw man being Death's child very interesting, as he could also be a kind of demon who maintains the balance in the sense that if humans die, demons must also die to allow humanity to move forward! I sincerely believe that Chainsaw Man chooses precisely what to eat and must continue to devour the demons, because they too must die to keep the balance between the numbers of humans and the numbers of devil. Many humans died by becoming pseudo-chainsaw man so chainsaw man eat lots of devils this time to keep the balance. Another possibility for the reason why death will come, might be the fact that chainsaw man might be defeated and bark everything he has been eating for centuries, death will be there to clean all this mess.

​@@VTWSyeah Fujimoto is chaptic and couldve gone so many routes, but really what he really is a controlled chaos. He couldve gone more with the Denji abuse angle just for the sake of it, but leave it Fujimoto to make it something poignant, yet tragic. But still, I have my theories that Yoru getting closer to Denji is his first foot in the grave to be turned into her weapon. Wich might tie into Yorus hidden agenda to kissing Denji and it could be a deal as to where she loves Denji and wants comnection, but that she was calculated in that descision. She only just recently learned that Denji is Chainsaw Man so it makes sense for her to try to use him like every other woman Denji has gotten close to. And that again makes ch 167 so much more tragic, because Denji believed that it was Asa kissing him with no ulterior motives, for the first time in his life, yet it was really Yoru acting on her instinct and possibly trying to or unintentionally making it possible to turn him into a weapon.

Not sure we’re really at the end of Pt2 yet personally. Not only because it’s still quite a bit shorter than part 1, but because it feels like there’s a bunch of plot threads still unfinished. Compared to Pt1, which ended pretty satisfyingly and wrapped pretty much everything up, I think it would feel weird to just leave the series on some sort of cliffhanger for like a year with tons of open subplots. But it is Fujimoto so there’s no real predicting him.

I doubt we’re at the end I feel like part 2 will be longer and I hope it is if it ended in this or one arc part 2 wouldn’t be as hood imo i agree we’re peaking but theres so many more plot lines let’s just leave fujimoto to writing csm okay 😂

I genuinely think that while this is his true form, Pochita is far feom being at his full power.

From Part 1, in their last battle, Makima stated that Black Chainsaw Man was defeated and near death but escaped to Earth. The Horsemen opened gates to Earth to finish off Black Chainsaw Man. But they couldn't find him and didn't know he took the form of a chibi chainsaw dog. Pochita was near death in chapter 1 when Denji made a contract. We don't know the deal with Death Devil and whether it was all of the Horsemen participating in battle or just the three (Fami, Control, and War). Death Devil is enigmatic and as the most powerful Primal Devil could be equated to Lucifer. Maybe these battles against Chainsaw Man in Hell are nothing more than amusement for Death Devil who isn't taking it seriously.

We already know from Yoru that she was able to stomp him in their previous fight before this series started. Pochita just regens so good that she cant kill him permanently.

What if death isn't the final villain of part 3(there is no way death appears in part 2 at this point), but in reality the only daughter loyal to mother? Control wanted to create utopia. War just wants to be feared and defeat chainsawman. Famine wants to prevent the apokalypse that death is meant to start. What if death doesn't even want to kill everything, but will do it because of her love to mother that was abounded by her other daughters?

Pochita being death could actually fix the idea of him eating the death devil eventually preventing any kind of fear and stopping the cycle of devils from earth to hell through death and explain how he can erase (kill) concepts. But ... there would've been hints for that if that were true

When humans start to exist they were of course afraid of death but also to starve… The thing that animal are always looking at is food then they will start to control a certain area but the most primal thing is food and the reason animals want to conquest territory is to get more food so hunger is before control/conquest then come war because conquest and control often lead to territorial conflict. We can see it in our modern world, most of the war are there because people want to take over a land or an area. So in conclusion, there is a link between each horsemen devil. We have death the most primal fear then hunger because people are afraid to starve, then control because people will control the other and conquest other lands to get more food and finally war because people will fight over the control of land.

Medieval wars were often fought for the proliferation of ones own family. The further back you go, the more rooted wars are in familial ties. Clan and tribal warfare were basically giant families killing other families. Powerful families often intermarried to secure strong alliances just to go to war. Its interesting to say the least. Who would you be willing to go to war for, if not your family?
