Okay, in all honesty, I don’t give one sweet tweet about saws, but you’re such a great guy, I’ll watch and learn. It will only be knowledge learning, I’ll never, ever buck anything or chop down a tree, you rock man. I’m an old bag, I love you! 😍
Thanks buckin for clearing up that pipe fitment question, I also heard and have seen a 266 pipe on a dolmar 7300. Think that’s the route I’ll be going with my 7300 as well. Love the content and channel man! Those pipes are the like holy grail of pipes and boy do they sound mean!! Love it!!!
Thanks for the helpful tips with starting an old saw and I always enjoy seeing a 372 tearing up some wood. The blue saw is definitely a novelty. I haven’t seen many of those at all.
I like it a lot when you play the drums it helps me what I really like listening to you and your mom playing music and the loging videos and just sitting down and watching you. And sending prayers to Land Fill Rat.
It takes a special talent to get “friends” to tune into two guys testing mufflers on a chainsaw… either that or my life is a lot duller than I thought. 😂
Awesome to see you back at it a little bit slow and steady wins sorry I missed live feed I always look forward to them every Sunday life has been CRAZY Brother keep on keeping on 💪💪🪓🪓👍
That Dolmar rips through them rounds and sounds good doing it! Nice to see you on the end of the saw again Buckin' and a nice bonus with Morgan and his creations
Thanks for another fun one. Just found you while searching for tune and tinker tips for my XL-12, Super XL Auto, and Mac 125C and warmed up 797 that I inherited from an Oregon feller from the 60s and 70s. I’ve already picked up helpful tips from you and Tinman and Ironhorse, and look forward to improving these old saws. The best to you and your family.
McKinsey is a awesome man, my wife was in the hospital for two months I sat with her the hole time day and night. He would email me back and forth. Didn't have to. Helped me tremendously. Some day I hope I can help him as much as he helped me. 🙏
Sounds like a big Dolly! Love it! Makita/Dolmar 7910 is fantastic. I would be interested to see what the 6400 series would do with the porting/muffler mods…scary.
That's what's wrong with my old echo CS 301 top handle. Or the fact it's been dropped twice and once with me Stihl the saw was hooked on my belt old classic buckingham starter saddle. It still gets the job done I've climbed in better like the weaver cougar but only with one good tree cutting company. The difference is night and day if you have climbing experience.
Hey Buckin I have a bit of experience with blacksmithing and when you guys were looking at the heat color on the serpent pipe I believe you didn't get in quite right. That duller light blue that you were seeing in the first section of the pipe is actually the final color in the order of colors that bleed out from heat and it indicates the highest heat in that section. I'll see if I can't link some sort of information on the topic.
I've seen a lot of people not get the saw started at all not using half choke when it's hot 🥵 or fast idle in my experience they all get hard to start when hot
I explained how to start the saw to the boy , he wasn’t listening . He would try starting my old 670 , when it wouldn’t run he would get so mad . I would grab the saw and fire it up , just a few pulls . 👍🇨🇦
I really love seeing you run these Dolmars/makitas. My dad bought me one for my 16th birthday. Thats what I wanted! A powersaw not a car lol! My Dolmar 6400 has been my go to for years, from firewood to tree work. I think its time to get her ported!
Great to see you feeling better friend those saws are fast and sound awesome. So you were talking about closing one of the mufflers down or what I perceive as narrowing it down, can this be done at the end of the muffler since you have very little room or does this need to be a gradual narrowing as you move down the pipe. I assume that muffler exhaust is like hydraulics the least amount of restriction the better it flows, I know in hydraulics that you get what we call hammering when it gets into a disturbance. Do you get the same kind of a hammering effect from your mufflers? This is coming from someone that knows very little about the effects of exhaust restriction, i love you buddy and thank for sharing your vast knowledge it priceless what you and Morgan are doing and teaching.
this is great . all change will do something , and again no scientist as you know im a feel guy., Buckin' Dyno😁.. but i wood think air wood find its way better than fluid ,, not sure on the hammering but have definitely seen in logging . i just know these pipes work . and when you find the right formula , yer smilin , great comment
Hay buckin I got a question there big guy I tired to get on your live stream yesterday did you band me from your live feed I got big shoulders buckin please let me know.
Thank you for everything you do to keep up on the awesome content God bless you yours and all of the bucking army 🪖!!!!!! WITH LOVE PEACE AND SAW GREASE !!! JAY SMALL. PS HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER BUCKIN
Peoples Vibrations are rising. and maybe realizing that this channel is not about just cutting trees, truth, brings a tall standing free human. i'm evolving friend and i like it. thank you spreading love.
what are ya cuttin do ya figure , Husky Yes,, My question to you wood be what is yer intent , are you gettin' into firewood , or do you just want a saw for the quad , do you picture yer self down the road with a bigger saw longer bar . let me know.
Hello Billy, is there anything worth knowing about chainsaw trigger control, if there is any? Like with fire arms? I was not able to find anything related to chainsaws other than repair videos. What I mean is: how to properly manage the throttle before, during, and coming out of the cut? I noticed many people are still full throttle at the end of the cut, while you tend to throttle down for the last one-two inches. Like coming up slowly to a red light. Am I right? Thank you, a low mileage chainsaw enthusiast here ;) Cheers
great questions Brother , Im just one man , but to be honest , its all situational,, diameter,, species, reason for the cut , how much oil yer getting with the saw in hand , Chain ,, are you in the air, or on the ground , what i do know friend it that these things have bin the vehicle to everything I have , most importantly my peace. thx for the question
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith Thank you for taking the time to reply. I very much appreciate. In beekeeping the answer to many questions is also "it depends" :) So now I understand what you replied, and I also understand I need to learn more ;) Thank you. Best wishes from Switzerland.
Stumpy, I missed you on the live feed I had to unload a truck load of logs the only problem was when Mark turned up with the fully loaded tray truck 8 tonnes there was only two logs on it 😫I had to drag them off.
Ahoy there …. Quick question why is your China cymbal always upside down? I’ve been watching you for 6 years now and it’s always been upside down. I’ve never seen that .
Just brain stormin. What if you had the Ramhorn exhaust go from two back down to one? Making the exhaust port smaller an having all gasses released together. Like an X pipe. But it would be a Y X Y. Your outside the box thinking doesn't go unnoticed so here's mine lol. Be safe all
