I've been playing around with chalk paint on and off for a couple of years. Watched a number of chalk painting channels where I got a lot of good ideas. But when it comes to doing a piece, I always go back to your vids. I find your tutorials have enabled me to get my best results. Thank you 🌼🇦🇺
Beautiful piece! A very educational video you showed us a bit of everything. . Thank you! The specking gave this piece something extra and the different waxes finished it up beautifully! Thank you for sharing your talent. 🥰
Great job! Love this outcome. I will be trying this on an old ugly 1980's laminate dresser. I'll check out your store for those brushes. Thanks for all the detailed videos. Really like your style. :)
Beautiful colors! I love how you age your pieces. So inspiring. I tried your "frottage" method with the shop towels and my piece came out great. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Watching your videos makes my day. 🙏
Nadine Connors ... I can’t thank you enough for your thoughtful words Nadine 🙏💚🤗 It makes my day to read such kind words! Also drives me to create more videos to inspire 🎨 I am so glad you tried the Frottage technique!!
Christina! You never cease to AMAZE me❣️This is gorgeous....I just love the different colors of speckling....such an authentic aged look....I just love the way you explain things...such a good teacher and a fantastic artist....as always Thank You for sharing😊k
Hi!! That’s fantastic you are starting out flipping furniture!! Yes it’s definitely a fun creative activity where your “inner art” can come out on to your furniture piece!! ❤️🎨🙏
Christina, you always make everything look so easy 😜 but I do have to say I have learned so, so much from you over the years. I greatly appreciate you and for all that you have taught me. You not only have a very great gift and talent at painting as well you do at teaching all of us, you have such away of not only instructing us as you do as encouraging us to not be afraid it’s only chalk decorative paint. So again thank you for all that you do. Stay safe, happy and healthy my friend 😘
Hi Kim!!! Thank you so much for the kind words! I am so happy to hear you have learned a lot from my tutorials! It takes time when I started I just just trying to figure chalk paint out and I am happy to share what I learned along the way! The RU-vid channel allowed me to share what I learned so if you think others could learn from my tutorials please share its greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much for supporting my channel!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🎨
Marilyn Neal ... thank you so much for your kind comment 🙏💙 Because I used mostly white wax you don’t need to use clear wax with white wax If you only wanted to use dark wax then I recommend using clear wax first . White wax comes off very easily if you have applied to much and want to remove some or all, but dark wax does not come off so easy without clear wax applied first. Most people use dark are black wax so it’s normally recommended to use clear wax first, when you use the white wax it is not necessarily needed as it will seal and protect if you add a little dark on top, and you can still remove the dark if you need ! Hope this helps 🤗🎨

On making the throws. Really want to learn how with a grandson on its way
Hi Amulz!! Good question! If you go to the video description in my videos you will see a amazon store link that will show you the spray misting bottles I use! Thanks for watching! 🎨❤️🙏
Jeanne Dorsey ... thank you so much Jeanne for your thoughtful comment 🙏💚 The direct link is super helpful and makes it much easier to resource the products if anyone wishes for there own projects! Annie Sloan paint products are only sold through stockists and there are tons! All over the world. The www.anniesloan.com website can direct one close by the area. I want to try some other products out that specializes in decorative furniture finishes and share them on my tutorials so people can see the final results as well as see what other products can create amazing finishes! If you ever have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime ☺️💚💚
Beautiful love the voice over video so helpful. Thank you for sharing. I’ve used AS chalk paint... love the colors. Hope you can guide me - I’m experiencing when using dark colors and misting the paint sometimes when I go over it it leaves a watermark - for lack of a better word- the paint is lighter than the rest. I can send you pictures if that’s possible. I need to understand what am I doing wrong. 🙁 any guidance is much appreciated Ana
Ana Azicri ... thank you so much Ana for your thoughtful comment and support 🙏💚 As to your question, my first thought is maybe you need a thicker base coat? Before you start to blend? I am not sure 🤔 But there is a way to correct and avoid the issue to make your project easier. Definitely send me some photos to my email thereclaimedheirloom@outlook.com I will have a look and maybe more answers to trouble shoot 😉🎨
Hi Giovanna! If you take a look in my video description you will see a link to my Amazon store that list all the products I use in my chalk paint tutorials. Thanks again for watching!! ❤️🎨🙏
I love watching your videos but it irks me every time you miss pronounce Annie Sloan's surname. You say Sa-loan when it is actually Ssssloan as in ssslone. Sorry to be picky maybe it's because it's a British name. Love the dresser 😀
Thanks 🙏 so much for your comment and I don't think 🤔 my intention wasn't to "Irk" you with the pronounced way I say a name. I do appreciate your feedback and support ☺️💕
