@@dennissmith7214I recently removed the CF from the door handles and antennna and the mirror post….i also removed the SRT from front and back and replaced the rear with a whipple script. I removed under hood badging as well to make it cleaner.
So does the new custom tune do anything to the OEM launch mode/settings? I know these are the only OEM NA cars with the Demon suspension and menu options...were those options retained?
The custom tune does reprogram the PCM, you will need an unlocked PCM. As far as the retention of the drag specific 1320 features, such as transbrake, torque reserve, and drag suspension mode…they all are retained.
Did you consider a Hellephant Crate engine? What do those cost anyway? I love the Maroon / Dark Red color family, I just wish you could get a tan leather seat in there. Maroon w/tan leather always did it for me; I remember seeing an attorney in an S class Mercedes with that combo when I was young and I was blown away...
Hellaphant Crate engines are all aluminum block. You can’t purchase the 1000 HP original version any longer and they were $30k at the time for just the crate….
No - the 1320 has all the demon suspension and drag components and hellcats do not. Also the initial investment in a HC would have been more and the insurance as well. Not to mention either way it would be an entire new engine and transmission and supercharger . So, no, it would not save money and it would be more expensive .
I know and agree…I’m still learning this iMovie editing stuff. I have vids of it running. I getting an 8 rib conversion and I will take some driving, car show and track vids when car is back.
@@SofaKingQuick damn ok. i live in tha burgh anf was thinking of taking my jeep gc to ost because i really couldnt find anybody else in tha area. is there a way i could reach you to get some shop numbers?
@@SofaKingQuick lol i just had gotten off their website. why did u end up using them and not ost? i got a bone stocc 5.7 im trying to go for that ol 52 fake out with this grand cherokee overland....i got like 20 to play with.
@@412hwc I went with them based on a recommendation in the 1320 owners group. I was looking because although the work at OST was fine, the communication was not to my satisfaction. I can stated emphatically that the communication at AMP North is head and shoulders above .
Some dude named Brian in Bethel Park bought all the JC Whitney Inventory and put it on his cars, so that's why they are no longer around.😃 The rumor is he still looks at the catalogs....but its hard to say for certain 😜....
By what standard? The car came with 275mm 40% 20” on 9.5s offset 12mm…the rears are 315mm 35% 20” on 11” wide rims offset 24mm..this creates an tire OD the same front to back at 28.66” and the same rim offset as stock front to back.
Nice build but a little over the top with the badging in my opinion, especially the "bee" logo on the rear window pilers, this just looks Sofa King out of place...
I will be putting out an updated vid in a few weeks or sooner. I removed all the badges and most CF components, and car is going for door inserts and 8 8-rib conversion. Keep an eye on the channel and hit notifications Darrell.
@@SofaKingQuick I am like you no Factory build for me either. Can build something so much better than stock factory stuff. Factory for those has no know how 😁😁😁
Have you ever met a mod you didn't like? I see these challengers with any and everything possible that will fit on the car. Less is more my man. Your car looks cluttered.
