One of the major global health challenges is the issue of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, which has led to millions of deaths worldwide. Assistant Professor Poochit Nonejuie, Ph.D. also known as Professor Mike, has spent over 10 years conducting research and developing a solution to this problem. The technology he developed is called Bacterial Cytological Profiling (BCP). This technique allows for a deeper understanding of how certain molecules work to kill bacteria, which can then be used to develop new drugs that can target and eliminate antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This groundbreaking research holds great potential for the global medical community.

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ภูชิต โนนจุ้ย หรืออาจารย์ไมค์ จากสถาบันชีววิทยศาสตร์โมเลกุล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้ทำการศึกษาวิจัยและพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีมากว่า 10 ปี ที่สามารถแก้ไขปัญหาแบคทีเรียดื้อยา เทคโนโลยีนี้เรียกว่า Bacterial Cytological Profiling (BCP) ซึ่งเป็นเทคนิคที่สามารถนำมาใช้เพื่อทำความเข้าใจการทำงานของโมเลกุลที่สามารถฆ่าแบคทีเรียได้ เพื่อคิดค้นตัวยาที่สามารถฆ่าเชื้อแบคทีเรียที่ดื้อยาและการค้นคว้าวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีประโยชน์ต่อวงการแพทย์ทั่วโลก
