Despite getting a decent headstart in my career, I feel that Canada's Fool's paradise. 1. The cost of living is phenomenally high. 2. The work life balance doesn't exist. Corporate slavery does exist here. 3. Home sickness and ageing parents. I would feel guilty if I'm not with my parents at the time when they need me the most. 4. Compromise on life style because getting established takes forever and it is very, believe me, very, expensive country. 5. Healthcare- SCAM! Don't expect anything until you're literally dying/facing existential crisis. 6. COLD! I think cold is an understatement. 😭 Ultimately you get a good sleep when you rest your head on the pillow of your "home". Canada, to me, is like a 5 star hotel (metaphorically). You would enjoy the newness of Canada, but eventually, your heart and soul would always try hard to resist change. Suggestion: - You don't want to live like a rat in a basement or in a pigeonhole for what? For claiming the world that you live in a so called developed country? Come on, let's be practical, if you've a decent job, happy life and no solid reason to immigrate, don't be a part of a life changing misadventure.

Actually migration to a country is a trap, but if there is chance in India it will be beautiful life. In India also scientist, doctors farmers and and every thing, people must have the working mind. But there is the problem of politics

Hi Anoop I saw your video about the disadvantages of living in canada and I would like to point out some things that need more explanation. Climate:Of course, Canada is cold, and you will be exposed to extreme cold . Like you said, there is measures you need to take, like clothing and shelter. When it comes to missing family, I know we all miss them, but you can apply for a visit visa or supervisa for parents .Parents can extend their stay upto 5 years with us but it depends on your finances.There is a malayali organization in Mississauga I believe to which you can engage in celebrations like onam ,Christmas gathering with friends and family.There is a lot of Indian restaurants in Mississauga but the taste will not be as authentic cause its all business, less masalas, as they also welcome Canadians.For the education part, well I came here as a student ,got enrolled in a good school,if you are keeping your grades right you are all good.I wouldn't say the education system is bad in here,I have a good paying job.So for us asking about sending our kids for school in here,well if your kid wants to be professional?yes he/she can no matter what.Health care is in chaos here like you said and it's called the triage system and they use pain scale to assess pain, but I should say for pregnant women, health system is different,they get proper care,sufficient follow ups etc or atleast in my province.About the job in your video,I don't know if your are looking for a professional or a minimum wage.For minimum wage there is lot of agencies you can look up online and that's how I got my first job.If you are looking for professional job you can compare your education to world education services and that will give you report according to Canadian education status. U need a vehicle when you are in Canada cause you can't just rely on the public transport system for all needs.Takes time to adjust 😉,cheers.

Hello, I am watching your video for the first time and from the video I understand that you came to Canada recently. I am in the USA. I think USA and Canada are not the same ( not sure, don't know very well about Canada). This is the first time I am replying to a youtube video but I think its important to comment. Frm my stay in US and I am a scientists here I think regarding education you will have a different perspective later. I don't think or say education in India is not good, I agree it's excellent, but the schools teach many things that are totally unnecessary in a long term run, it's stressful with homeworks too many exams. But here ( I have 2 boys in school), also I see a lot of graduate and masters students in my university the way of teaching is different. Choosing schools are very important. You can do a good google check, check for the school grade and score you will get a good idea about schools. County schools will be really excellent compared to city schools. My kids are in county schools and I don't have words to say how well the teacher's develop their lacking areas. They do a lot of work to bring them up, regular meetings with parents. It is less stressful but they concentrate well on reading, math, science with small experiments, thinking and communicating ability. It's excellent with less stress! But definitely you have to hunt a bit and find the best school.

Very true ! Then why are you still in Canada . I left Canada in 1993 after getting Pr and joined my decent Gov job in India. Worked 34 years in my current job and raised 3 children and they all are well settled ! Always we think other places are havin more green pastures . If you have decent respectful job in India live here with dignity

About cost of living Anoop did you compare with Australia, NZ, UK etc. About rent think about the number of people moved in to Canada in 2022. That is 1.1 million new people who needs accommodation, medical care, schooling etc. to a very small country. We who lived here for many years (myself 48 years) should be screaming. About cold weather, I completed my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Northern Odisha. In some winters it could go down to 3 degree Celsius in winter. Imagine going to college early morning in a bicycle to finish lab work. No heating in the room either. I think it is lot better here.

I do not know where in CAnada are you, we have ample supply of Coconut, n beef yes the authentic water Buffalo , n there are so many sporting activity infact way more than back home !!! Overall it’s an amazing place it’s jus the limited knowledge!!!
