WELCOME TO EXERCISE FOR HEALTH:
Ask yourself, are you fit enough for this workout?.... as I obviously wasn't! This is a very tough cardio workout so NOT recommended for anyone with a pre-existing heart condition. When I was developing this workout, I didn't realise it was going to be as hard and intense as it was and I really struggled at the end as you will see (maybe I'm not that fit), so you have been warned.
Although the exercises are low impact, some of them place a lot of stress on the lower back muscles, hips and knees, so be extra conservative with your movement when you start.

I purchased a workout sandbag - had never heard of such a thing before - just to do this workout in the video :) Thanks for keeping it real and sharing your exhaustion with us unlike the workouts with perfectly fit trainers. However I think your talking the instructions made you tired. Consider voice-overs. Also, do get a stress EKG done whilst on the treadmill. I know someone who had shortness of breath doing exercises and ended up with a heart attack and CABG :(

No, I wouldn't do a voice over as it wouldn't work. This was particularly challenging, probably the toughest one I've done on this channel hence why I found it really hard. You do realise you should get breathless on exertion and I'm guessing you haven't seen my video where I test my blood pressure and heart rate during a variety of exercises as the results were pretty much as expected.

Is it good if you have for high blood pressure

Yes it should be OK, but it is very intense (much more than my workout to reduce B/P video). NOT recommended for anyone with heart conditions e.g. Angina/ previous heart attack/ heart disease etc.

If your doctor has given you the clear you can, take good care of your RPE, you might need to take longer pauses to recover. I had CABG almost two years ago. I would strongly advise to go light, I have been following this channel from the beginning of my rehab.

How can i control RPE?
@aelaan12
@aelaan12 2 года назад
@@-sharemetta1402 The RPE scale is used to measure the intensity of your exercise. The RPE scale runs from 0 - 10. 0 means extremely light, 10 means beyond exhaustion. RPE = Rated Perceived Exertion, it is a scale where you rate how you feel, if you are winded that means you are reaching your RPE. Generally, and depending on your regime, you want to aim for around 7. If you have not done a full rehab program I strongly advise to discuss it with your doctor first. To control RPE you can include longer breaks between sets or do less of the exercise (instead 45 seconds, do 20 seconds and build it up). What happens of you climb a flight of stairs, are you feeling winded? Or if you go up two times, how do you feel then etc. This is setting a baseline for your perceived exertion. Be very honest with yourself, you don't need to be a superhuman and collapse. There is no shame in just stopping and catching your breath. Over time you will build up your fitness level.
