Champa is older than you. Champa is older than Islam. If you are Cham be proud of your roots though you might have grown from them into something different today..

Not Cham Hindu ..It’s traditional Cham Bani in Cambodia (Cham mixed old cham culture and Islam) , Nowadays have practice 20% of Cham in Cambodia, part of Kampong Chhnang and Pusat Province.
Cham/ champa kingdom. Needs to back to it's cultural glory. Cultural identity, ethnicity should be kept. Religion is not a matter, as for my view point, practicing religion is person choice, but ancisterial culture, traditions are very much important to keep 'Identity'.
The mantra they use is not Hindu' s mantra. This is our ancestors mantra. In Malaysia a long time ago...we use to call this dance as ' Main Teri' and the mantra is to our ancestors spirit. But when we practice Islamic law...this dance is prohibited and not allowed any more
Lovely video! Do you remember what village this was in or at least which province? Kampong Chhnang would be what I'd assume first followed by Pursat and Battambang?
