I'm a Cowboys fan that grew up watching football in the mid-2000s. Champ was always the best db and it wasn't even close. In my memory no one dominated the position like him until Revis came along doing his thing.

We were so lucky to have Champ on the Broncos for the tail-end of his career...he really helped a few guys behind him up the ladder he was on.

Champ was part of one of the most amazing moments sports or nonsports of my life… I was watching the game with my dad and sister and friends and the patriots were on the 5 yd line and we were all freaking out. That was the moment I said if Champ Bailey intercepts this ball and takes it for a touchdown I'm gonna drink the rest of that tequila bottle... We'd been drinking to every Broncos score before then but the bottle was still mostly full. Bailey intercepts on the goaline and is all alone running for a td. I run in front of the TV and just start yelling, My dad and friend Hector Hector pick me up and tackle me as it's happening. We are jubilant but there's a price to be paid. My sister suddenly mentions that the ball popped out... by some miracle Ben Watson runs him down and knocks the ball out on the one yd line. Game secured and life saved. Broncos win and I live to die another day.
