Champion 4500 Watt Generator Step by Step Oil Change
In this video I conduct a step-by-step oil change on a 2022 Champion 4500 Watt Gas Generator (with remote start).
No special tools were required.
I include bonus items such as demonstration of how the remote control starts the generator.

Do you not have a CO2 monitor on that one? I just bought the Champion 4500, no remote start, and I'm having a heck of a time getting it to work inside my trailer mounted generator box. I've tried about 3 different exhaust extensions and I simply can not get it to stop shutting down. I have vents on both sides of my generator. The only thing that has worked for me is to completely remove the vent, put a fan in the vent hole, start the generator, and immediately plug the fan in. What do you have in place?

I was under the assumption that you aren’t supposed to plug anything in until after you start the generator that’s why I am think about not getting the remote starting I want it to run my camper

i didnt have any problems. You basically dont really have anything "on" when you start it. Plus, there is a delay before electricity kicks in at the outlets. The genetator will crank up, fhen when it senses all systems go, it then channels power to the outlets. You can tell cuz when my microwave sensed the power availability, it would beep. Besides. best practices would be to turn high capacity items on manually, perhaps a 100 amp pump or something? I would think that component would be on a separate relay. Are you trying to use this like a servo relay?
