Nico, go back into Gerudo Town and talk to Riju and Buliara, they'll tell you where Urbosa's diary is so you can read it. You can do this for the other Champions as well, go back to their respective village and talk to their elders, they'll tell you where the Champions' diaries are. You learn some interesting stuff about them, so it's worth it!

Okay Nico somethings you need to know 1. Now that you've started this DLC you should go back and talk to each race leader and champion descendant, they'll tell you about something you will defiantly want to know about. 2. After re-defeating each boss you can keep re-fighting them and every time after you beat them you'll get a bit more dialogue from the champions. Can everyone please like this so he's more likely to see it.

Technically, you're supposed to feed the Moldugas bombs. It's a staple of there being a monster like that in Zelda, like the Dodongo guys.

You still haven't used Stasis on a mounted Bokoblin. It is 1000% worth it. Don't even attack them after you do it, just wait until it ends.

When using the obliterator I was so nervous that I would save almost every time I killed even one enemy. This thing really had me paranoid.

You should go to the towns, and speak to the decendants. They'll help you with the shrines, and you'll find some cool backstory. Also, there's unique dialog if you refight the bosses (by going back to the Beasts after completion) multiple times. It's... very tedious , so if you want to look up a video and react to that, I'm sure us Picky Penguins would prefer that than you constantly fighting them just to hear it. It's pretty funny sometimes, check a look.

Before leaving the desert, speak to Riju; she'll give you access to Urbosa's diary. Speaking to the leaders of the other tribes will let you read the diaries of the other champions as well.

Urbossa has to be my favorite champion, she's just so cool and also caring towards Zelda

Not counting the shrines from the Champions' Ballad, there are a total of 120 shrines in the game. It is not possible to max out both your hearts and your stamina. Only one or the other. The max hearts you can get is 30, which is ten more than in previous Zelda games, and, as you've already discovered, you have a maximum of 3 stamina wheels. You can use certain elixirs and meals to temporarily give yourself over that amount of stamina, but you can never have more than 30 hearts in total, even using elixirs and meals to raise your max health.

Nico be sure to visit each champion town as they have new diaries in them!

Contrary to what you might think I actually felt really invigorated to try the trial of the Sword again when I lost most of the way through. That's probably because this game is crack cocaine but still, it's something. Although I don't think I'd have the same vigor for Master Mode Trial of the Sword. Seriously just thinking about that makes my balls scrunch up.

Nico, I was recently just informed that apparently the ban on Steins;Gate 0 LPs have been lifted, so perhaps, after you release the Council of Voices, or after Zelda is over, you can finally play the game yourself. Just letting you know.

Nico, after talking to Kass and learning the location of the three trials for the area, go talk to the people that Kass said he talked to. They'll give you hints about where to find the trials. You'll also then be able to read the diary of their respective champion, which gives a bit more story to them. Even if you don't need the hints, I definitely recommend that you read the diaries.

The easier way to fight Molduga is to throw a bomb and detonate it when he eats it

*Zelda Tips:* Fun fact: If you use stasis on a swarm of Bats (Keese) they'll all run away and only the stasised Keese with remain. Don't forget to go to the leader of each race and ask them about the champions like Kass did. If you do you can go read their diaries and get a bunch more characterization for them. Dinraal spawns by the Hebra tower. I can't believe you still haven't farmed for his parts yet. Nico you can dodge Thunderblight Ganon's teleport slash. Sheesh. He telegraphs it pretty hard you just need to time it properly.

I like how Nico the kind of the stealth kill. Didn't even think about utilizing stealth to make the obliterator Trials easier until like halfway through.

Yay Champions’ Ballad. My Favorite DLC. You may die a lot but its gratifying when you figure out the puzzle without dying. And the second part, also hard but the prize is well worth it.

Nico, this is kinda out of the blue, but in Champions Ballad and around the ending of the game there are good spots in which you should let go of the ghosts residing inside Link, which would be perfect plot wise and kinda a farewell to the LP. Hope you can pull that off!

Of cours you will meet Kaas the singer quite often in the Champion's BALLARD.

Also if you go to the Divine Beasts and rechallenge the blights again, you’ll get extra dialogue from the Champions

There are journals of the champions and alternate dialogues that you can get by refighting the bosses again they give more insight to the champions characters and their interactions with link.

Hey Nico I just found this out recently but if you feed a endura carrot to your horse it can extend your horse's stamina even further.

Nico, don't forget to go talk to Riju for more backstory about Urbosa!

Nico!! Go to the homes of the champions and talk to the descendants. They give you hints on where some of the harder to find challenges are and they provide a lot more backstory

Fun fact: when that chest in the dark shrine fell due to burning the leaves, it bounced sideways and killed me.

You've already got a lot of the shrines. There aren't that many left.

I'm not sure if anyone told you this, but Thunderblight Gannon is (as I've heard it referred to) a parry check boss. The idea is that you're supposed to parry his attacks by shield bashing as soon as his attack connects. It makes the fight much easier. Also, that second shrine... I hate you. That's all I have to say.

I just got my own Breath of the Wild today! Can't wait to play it, but I guess Nico comes first.

i think what i like about this series so much is i can just imagine the people in link's head are talking while he's mid-battle between some bokoblin or something and he just suddenly shouts "WHAT THE FRICK OLD MAN" and the enemies would be so confused. i can imagine that against ganon too.

a little late, but there's a really easy way to fight moldugas: stand on top of a rock or pillar so that the molduga doesn't sense you, then toss a round bomb down next to it. The rolling of the bomb attracts the molduga, and it will try to eat the bomb. Then you blow the bomb in it's mouth which stuns it so you can attck it

To be fair in master mode there are plenty of these floating platforms that have some pretty good armour so it's not entirely one sided at the beginning, but that isn't going to help you on the great plateau where the you can't reach said platforms 9/10. And it certainly isn't going to help you when there's A FUCKING WHITE LYNEL ON THE GREAT PLATEAU!!! WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?! WHO?! *WHOOOOOOO?!?!?!?!!!* Also nobody mentioned this but in master Mode there's a higher tier of enemies in the for if Golden enemies who you'll start encountering about 2 divine beasts in. This includes Golden Lynels that have 7800 health and hit like a rocket propelled bulldozer, even with the best armour.

I know he probably won’t play right after this, but I want Nico to play Ocarina of Time to see his reaction to the Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple. Rated E for Everyone!

The final challenge for this LP needs to be "go kill Ganon in Master Mode as quickly as possible."

Each champion also has several conversations for each time you re-challenge the boss. Some of these can be really funny, such as how Urbosa talks about how link had to cross-dress to get into gerudo town 100 years ago with the same outfit that he uses now.

The only way I ever fought Moldugas was standing on rocks where they can't get you, throwing a bomb to attract their attention, then when they try to eat the bomb detonating it and filling them with arrows while they're stunned. Y'know, like the movie Tremors.

I wish Link would one hit obliterate me.......

If you talk to the elders of each tribe, the DLC has added a journal for each of the Champions. It gives a lot of character development for them. Also they'll give you hints to what you need to do for the different Champions' trials.

Nico, here’s a tip for bosses. You’re going to want to get a lot better at Perfect Dodges, and to a lesser extent perfect Shield Parries. Perfect Dodging an attack from a boss that is currently in an invulnerable state (such as Thunderblight Ganon while it is electrified) almost always puts them into a vulnerable state for your Flurry Rush, and said Flurry Rush will often have the additional effect of stunning them and leaving them open to even mote attacks. Most bosses have attacks that become predictable once you’ve seen them a few times (for example, Thunderblight Ganon’s flash step attack can always be dodged at the same time). This makes bosses a lot easier and is nigh required for some bosses.

Tip for fighting Muldgas. Stand off the sand and throw a bomb. They'll chase the vibrations and swallow it, which you can then blow it up from within. This is why your bomb arrows work. Except, you ended up skipping the intended process.

The foreshadowing in this song... it only struck me now.

Tip for fighting Molduga: leave bombs planted and detonate them when they're near them or they're about to attack you.

The one hit obliterater is great. The shockwave you make when you’re attacking high enough counts as a hit and killed everything around me

The one hit obliterator works like the elemental weapons in that if you swing them, they'll temporarily lose their ability to do the corresponding effect until they're glowing again.

Notice that the weapons you are limited to are the weapons once wielded by the champions. That is because you are basically reliving their fight with the divine beast, but with an alternate outcome.

The interesting stuff about the Molduking is, that he has a lot of iron in his skin and as such conducts elictricity realy well, the element of Urbosa and her Devine Beast. Maybe she got her lightning powers from mastering her trials.

There’s a interesting trick to killing a Molduga. 1) Get to high ground mostly a rocky area. 2) Throw a bomb on the sand and as it attacks the detonate to stun it. 3) Then go and attack the shit out of it. Kill it, kill it till its dead.

When Thunderblight Ganon charges into you, your supposed to shield bash him which makes him a easy target.

Yo Nico, next episode you should go talk to Riju. There's actually new dialogue with her that's relevant to the DLC. In fact, all the Champions' successors (Yunobo, Teba, Sidon) have new dialogue. Be sure to talk to them! Also, each Champion's diary is hidden somewhere in each town. Just in case you wanted to learn more about how they think.

So nice to see youre finally doing this one. The shrines and trials here will test your puzzle solving skills in whole new ways! When Kass mentions getting help from the leader of each village, make sure to go back there and talk to those people yourself once more. Like now, you better talk to Riju before you leave. Its important, trust me. Also, if you challenge and defeat the Divine Beast Bosses AGAIN after this for several times, you'll get to have more conversations with the late Champions. There's a video of all of them if you don't want to fight over and over again because these get real tough. I personally did this on Master Mode and... Thanks to the regeneration ability enemies have there, my weapons ocasionally break before I get the chance to defeat them. Consider yourself lucky you don't have to endure that. By the way, Unfortunately you cannot max out both health and stamina with the Spirit Orbs you get from the game. People expected this DLC to change that but those 4 are the only ones you get. And According to Nintendo, there are not going to be any more updates for the game. Bummer. But hey, that also means you're pretty close to finding all shrines. You can do it!

NICO! Once you've beaten the Champions Divine beast you can read the Champions diary. Just talk to the chiefs, and they'll tell you.

Nico, you know you could have flurry rushed Thunderblight ganon when he teleports rapidly towards you or even parry him (which is what Daruk's protection did for you)
