Zelda: I believe you can defeat Ganon Link Link: That can wait. Right now I have to find this horse Zelda: Goddamit Link! I’ve been waiting this whole fucking time!
For when you storm the castle, I suggest three ways of going about it. ROUTE 1: SNEAK KING! Get in all the way to the top sneaking around! It's doable, if you stick to waterways or go carefully. ROUTE 2: STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM NOW WE HERE! There's a neat little cove entrance in the back. You can scale the castle from the inside that way. ROUTE 3: THE MAN'S NUT! Walk in the front door, walk up the main path, and KICK THE MONKEY ASS OF EVERYTHING IN YOUR WAY. By this point? You can do it.
Priorities in Link’s Mind Finding Shrines that he doesn’t even really need anymore to complete his quest and doing random ass shit comes first Actually saving Hyrule and defeating Ganon who could break out if Hyrule castle at any moment while tons of lives rest entirely on his shoulders comes second. Even though he never speaks I resonate with Link so much.
Link: Hmmmm....... Should I go chat up that random girl in a stable who I will never talk to again after I finish her stupid request? Or should I go save the Princess, as well as, I don't know, the damn world?!?!?! ................stable girl here I come!!! (Drives off on his motorcycle)
All I can picture now is Link alone and crying hugging himself in a ball on the floor to give love to his “friends”. To any passerby that is gonna be a very... odd thing to see
You have to be careful when getting the Royal Guard DLC outfit, One of the chests is above the room you fight Ganon. You have to make sure you don't accidentally go into the room below.
Dude, that doesn't matter at all. The point is the moment you enter the room where the chest is you are forced into the cutscene that initiates the battle regardless of whether the actual fight takes place there.
Bernie was killed off screen but was revived by the Horse God! List of deaths in this LP so far: Fall to death: 3 Killed by a Guardian: 3 Killed by a boss: 5 Killed by an enemy: 12 Killed by a Lynol: 11 Trying to pull out the Master Sword: 3 (final count) Spotted and killed at the hideout: 5 (final count) Blown up: 1 Burned to death: 1 Hit by a ball: 2 Killed by spikes: 1
UnovaTrainerWhite I thought maybe you were exaggerating but I just checked my sub box and there was literally nothing in there for the past 30 minutes exactly.
As much as I love the Giant Horse and the Motercycle, I can't help but make the White Horse my transportation of choice. I named her Lillie (after the character from Pokemon), and I don't know. The design is just so majestic. I make sure each time I play to make it the first thing I go grab upon leaving the Great Plateu.
You know, I just realized that the Champions are meant to be the Sages of this game. Each is a of a different race is associated with an element. I’m kinda ashamed of myself of not realizing that sooner when it was probably obvious to most people.
When I heard dye changing color, I first assumed you meant something different, so let me tell you something cool. The game over words change color depending on how you die (blue if killed with ice, or yellow if killed by electricity)
Quick note, there was a quest back at Outskirt Stable you missed. Talk to the girl under the tree! Also, for the cake quest, just make a cake for the guy and give it to him to get it done! Also, also, heads up! There is a shrine quest that requires you be on a shrine pedestal with no clothes in the middle of a blood moon to unlock a shrine. Since you're so close to finishing all the shrines, I recommend finding this particular shrine first (using a guide or through sheer determination), using your travel medallion to be able to teleport there immediately, then going off to find the other shrines (also possibly using a guide) to pass the time until the next blood moon occurs. And side note, the Thunder Helm and the Rubber Armor have identical effects, so just using the Thunder Helm is sufficient against electric enemies (so you can use better armor than the rubber armor instead of using it for electric immunity).
hey man even if you didn't do an anniversary vid we all still love you man. Thank you for the six years of work you put into this channel. We are all thankful to you
Zelda: Ok its been 26 episodes. HURRY UP AND SAVE ME!!! Link: Sorry, if i don't find all the shrines and side quests the gods of Justice will surly kill me! Me: Yes Link. Submit to JUSTICE!!! *Maniacally laughs*
Yep. Nico isn't uploading while I'm at work, or at school, or on the bus, or while I'm making dinner, but instead at the nice, reasonable time of 10:00 PM. I... I kind of miss this. :') I'm mostly kidding, I know the earlier upload times are more convenient for everyone else, I don't want him to change back. It is nice being on time for once though. XDDD
I'm hoping the next LP is Devil Survivor 2. Think about it, it wouldn't be too grindy, wouldn't take to long, and it's something people want. Perfect if the CoV episode takes longer to make than Breathe of the Wild.
Me too buddy, me too... I think after a while, I've just lost hope for it, like FE:A. It would be amazing, but there's just other games in he's backlogged to do.
You could do a mini episode where you read all the quests and upload between two regular episodes. It should take that long to record, edit and upload.
It looks like Kass seeks alone time from wilderness and tries his best to ignore Link as long as possible but is too nice to say that directly when Link comes to talk.
I'm still going to make the push for Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology for a later LP. But hey, glad to hear you're making tons of progress on the Council of Voices!
Advanced battle tip: When you jump off your master cycle (using x), you can do an slow motion bow shot. Which of course can be repeated as many times as needed. Great to rush a lynel with the master cycle, then shoot them into their face. The same goes for when you are on the back of an lynel and it knocks you off, you just need to be fast enough. The fastest method to defeat lynels - even gold lynels - is to rush them with the master cycle, stun them with the slow motion bow, deal damage on their back, deal more damage with the slow motion bow when being thrown off, then use urbosas fury to stun them again, rinse and repeat.
Previously, in my comments in the other Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild videos: + Look for the secret North-side pier of Hyrule Castle, and on one of the landings is a pair of giant torches (or urns or brazers or whatever they really are). One of them is unlit. Light it for a cool magic trick. + There is one last journal in Hyrule Castle, specifically in a hidden room in the Library. Please read this journal. + Look around the Koukot Plateau canyon, specifically along the elevated platforms, to find the missing travelers! And now back to the -tips- random crap I thought of for this video... + Whenever you finish upgrading your inventory, go look up a video of Hestu's prize for finding all of the Korok Seeds. Please share your reaction as you watch the video with us. + Try to finish upgrading the Champion's Tunic. It is the best piece of Armor in the game. + Keep checking back at Rito Village Shrine during the day. You may find Kass there after completing all of his Quests! (Or before completing all of his Quests. I don't actually know. I just ran into him by chance.) As always, 'till next time... stay classy!
Has anyone told Nico to get on top of one of the walking guardians? If I remember right you can sorta "guide" them in the direction you want depending on where you are on top of them.
Nico, you should really go to back to the area with all of those funky mushroom-trees, in the southern-most part of the Hebra region. There's something pretty important for shrines somewhere near the stable over there.
With how quickly this game is progressing I guess I'll start requests for the next or future LPs. I gotta say Nico that you really should play Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. It may look like a regular Mario game but its actually not. In fact, I guess you could call it a hybrid of Final fantasy and Undertale. It's certainly a game with a lot of laughs, characters that are perfect for your voices, and overall a great story. And if you like the game you should really try Super Paper Mario too which in my opinion is even better than Ttyd. I'm not expecting this to be the next LP but in the future I HIGHLY request giving it a try.
Sadly, there is no consequence of killing a horse. But the horse god knows how your horse have died. I believe there is a dialogue for death by explosion, death by weather, falling off a cliff, being killed in battle, and you killing the horse.
0:50 what do you mean? They do that all the time! Trains, cyber tech, full color cameras, AI that resides in master sword, rocket powered sails, levitating islands.
I named my giant house Entei after the legendary demon house, and I thought it would be fitting since it’s supposed to be Ganondorf house from the Ocarina of Time game.
Nico, if you go to the Mounted Archery Camp where you turned in the giant horse quest, you can do a minigame to win a new bridle and saddle. There's another minigame that gives a different saddle and bridle at a stable near there, the one on the edge of a large pond.
Thunderhelm protects you against ANY electricity. It's useful if you need to mix and max armor. I actually didn't know about the rubber suit until now.
When you usually update your videos, it's arpund 10 pm here. It was 3 am today. Ahh, I remember those days when this happened on daily basis. No worries, though.
Nico before you fight Ganon make sure you have a horse out of the stables. You dont need to bring it to the castle but make sure its not boarded in the stables
Another fun thing to do would be the horse mini-games I think. They both can be found near the stable closest to the horse god, one's with the giant horse quest guy and the other's at the stable itself. I don't think they're related to any quests, but they do have more interesting rewards than most other mini-games.
Oh man! I hate living in a different time zone while Nico posts late! Not only did I have to sleep, I also had to go to work before I could get to watch this. Well worth the wait though!
Nico, you won’t find the last shrine on the map. It’s in Hyrule Castle in the basement, so you’ll have to head back in there to get it. Also, you do get something for completing all 120 shrines, another armor set.
There is a hidden quest with kilton, if you kill every Hinox, every Talus, and every Molduga (3 seperate quests). You must do the task and then speak to Kilton. It does not reset when they respawn after a blood moon, and if you fight one you previously defeated it will say that you killed it before next to it's health bar.
There is one REALLY annoying and infamous one he hasn't done. There is another, less of a pain one with lightning but I don't remember if Nico has done it.
I think the only Kass shrine he's missing is the infamous one. There's also that one Kass quest that isn't a shrine over near Hateno Village. I don't think he's done that one either. Those should be the last ones though. Then, I think you just go to Rito Village, and Kass should be there.
It's really interesting how many different ways there are through that one shrine. I never even used the rotate thing on my first few playthroughs, and in fact I always chose the hardest possible way to get the ball into the hole-Stasis. Most sane human beings use Cryonis so they can just throw the ball over the wall.
I can't personally verify this (as I don't speak Japanese) but I've heard from multiple sources that in the Japanese version of the game, all of the descriptions for quests are phrased to mean "I" instead of the instances that read as "you" in the English game. So, it's implied that these quest descriptions were all written by Link and sort of act like a diary with all his little comments on what happened. I thought that was a pretty cool thing to learn about because in that sense there's even more characterization for Link, whereas the phrasing of "you" might otherwise cause these descriptions to be viewed as though it's just the game talking to the player (which is probably what the localization team was aiming for when they changed the phrasing)
I'm not sure if anyone's said, but some fun trivia about those 4 islands to the east of Tarrey Town are based on Tingle and his brothers from Wind Waker. Ankle, Knuckle, and David. David not a true Tingle bro tho.
You should try doing all the shrines quest from kass, i know he is somewhere near mount satori (where the lord of the mountain was) and has a diary with hints on all his quests to make it easier to find. Honestly, i wanted to do them just so he could go back to his family, but there's a little more he tells you regarding his teacher too.
What!? Yesterday was my birthday! Anyway happy channelversary Nico! May you have many blessings! May you continue by giving us the picky penguins your incredible entertainment! May You have and I also have another great March 12th!
The reward for getting all of the korok seed is hestu’s poop.... and the distinct smell means the seeds are actually poop. And you only need 450 out of 900 seeds to max out your inventory
