DELIGHTED! I always told my wife that Star Trek was not about spaceships and special effects, but about ordinary people in the worst, or best, moments of their lives. This was one of the best Star Trek stories ever. Thanks for Loving Star Trek.

This is such a beautiful story and shows how magical a true Star Trek episode can be if written with the same love and skill as the franchise writers had long ago. A simple story told so elegantly. Wonderful acting, especially from the doctor who drew a tear from me at the end. It goes to show that Star Trek can be done brilliantly without a single phaser being fired. It's all about the characters, the story and getting the sincerity across to the audience. Thank you so much to everyone involved for a very warm and touching production.

This is some real topnotch TNG temporal shenanigans the whole family can enjoy. No political agenda, no overly dark and gloomy narrative, just pure undiluted star trek. I wish you and the other fan film producers had the control of ST. i give you 100% fresh score.

That was a first for a fan film! Actors that can actually act! This is by far the best fan film I have watched, and I've watched quite a few. I felt as if I was watching actual trek. The acting was fluid and not awkward like other fan films. It left me wanting more. Very well done.

If the producers of Star Trek Discovery, and all the recent star trek films would watch this brilliant vignette, they would realize that that great Scifi storytelling does not cost millions to produce and does not have to be jam-packed with 90% CG and 10% message, but precisely the other way around. GREAT JOB!! I think Gene and Majel would be so, so pleased.

I cant get over how good this is, the music is spot on the production is perfect, it feels like a lost episode of TNG. If fans can make this how did CBS give us that unmitigated disaster called STD... Truly amazing work and a lovely story too

Just goes to show what a group of talented fans can do, with very little money, but alot of effort and love of the subject matter.

Well done on all counts. The acting, the costumes were top notch. I kind of guessed early on where the story was headed but it was enjoyable regardless.

Very nice and fitting story for Star Trek. Normally, with a fan film you have to kind of shrug off some inexperience with the actors, but here that thought didn't cross my mind.

Fantastic little story, a great example of a story doesn't have to be all about violence and explosions to be excellent. Had me misty eyed at one point. A great story and well acted, would fit right in with most star trek tales. Absolutely brilliant.

This was an excellent short tale. I quickly found myself liking the characters, and it's nice to hear some English accents in Star Trek for a change. Well done, I look forward to seeing more from you.

This really shows us why the more recent Star Trek movies haven't sated the desires of so many Star Trek fans. We've been begging for an emotional, interesting story with some likeable characters. All we've gotten so far is action schlock. This film here proves with just those three things listed before, you can have a great Star Trek experience. Great work and I can't wait to see your next one.

One more example of fans having a better notion of what Star Trek and Star Trek story telling are about than those currently running the franchise. Well done! Wonderful bittersweet love story hinging on dilemmas faced by so many people in our modern culture.

awesome job the acting was good in their uniforms were fantastic. think that they fit the actors really well. most of the time in fan films they clothing doesn't fit as good as it does in the real series.. heck I almost thought I was watching Star Trek in the 90s 👍

Not every Star Trek episode requires phaser fire or combat. The "Great Bird of the Galaxy" would be very proud of this work, exploring human emotions. Very well done!!

Returned to this having watched it a year or two back. Still brilliant and never gets old. Has that ‘TNG era’ feeling that never quite returned after Voyager. The subsequent film was also excellent. Hope to see more in the future.

Fantastic production but, more importantly, charming story. Good acting as well. I particularly liked the pace of delivery and tone from Dr Goode.

That moment as he walks out to the lake at the beginning perfectly captures the flavour of 1990s Star Trek. And you've got several good performances in there, too.

From the opening scene I could tell this wouldn't be the usual sort of ST fan film. Production value, cinematic capability were exceptional. I suspect when I look further into the filmmakers' next feature I'll see pro experience in film production. But I'm surprised the comments don't mention more the thing I think really stood out and that was the acting talent. I think successfully pulling off these kinds of emotional story lines can be particularly difficult, and the main actors did very well (including the supporting). I wasn't aware of the funding drive for their next feature but I'm glad to hear they got what they needed. (Just peeked at their website and see by amazing coincidence I've watched "Chance Encounter" the same day "The Holy Core" will be released.)

Excellent story. I still can't get over how well done these fan films are. Made by people who seem to really understand what the Trek Universe is all about. The writers and producers of Discovery should watch these fan films, they could learn a thing or two.

OMG..I have stayed away from the "Fan" film because they are of such low quality...BUT this..Even the music score was on point. Great story line, music, dialog and sets were top notch..Worthy of a full length cinema....WELL done...
